Kim gave him a dirty look. "It's not okay to joke about stuffs like that."
"I see we have different sense of humor, for that I apologize." "It's fine," she said facing the window. She stayed that way till they got to the airport.
"We're here", he announced tapping her. Kim stirred, opening her eyes. She had fallen asleep during the ride, her head on the window. They both got down from the car.
"Don't tell me it's a private jet?" Kim exclaimed. "Don't worry, your visa's been taken care of." "I'm so excited right now."
He could clearly see it. "You're here for business Kimberley." He watched her face contort in a frown.
"Mood killer. Of course I know that."
They got into the jet few minutes later. Kim's mouth just hung open, her eyes taking in everything.
"Please can I take a picture, you know to show my sister?" "I guess I can allow it." Alex told her taking his seat.
She took a few pictures before taking her seat on the other isle.
"Come here", Alex instructed.
She slowly made her way to seat beside opposite him. "Are you okay?"
"Yes I am", she answered buckling up or at least trying to.
Alex smirked, watching her fumble with the belt. "You know you can always ask for help."
She looked at him briefly, her face stained with a blush. "I can manage, it's just that I'm nervous."
"First time flying?" "Yeah."
"Figured," he mumbled. He got impatient watching her fumble with the belt.
"Here, let me help," he said reaching out to help. He didn't take note of their proximity until he was done. Slowly, his eyes darted to her lips. She gulped, quite nervous from his stare. Clearing his throat, he sat down, straightening his shirt. They sat in silence till the jet was about to take off.
"I've always wanted to visit Greece," she told him after the pilot announced their destination. He just grunted in reply, his eyes closed. He tried pushing her away from his thoughts, but that was nearly impossible to do, with her just sitting across from him.
"So are you going to tell me about the rules, or do I have to wait till we touch down?" Kim asked him expectedly.
the phrase 'patience is a virtue?'"
Kim just shrugged. "Guess I'm impatient then."
Alex brought out the paper he had printed out earlier. He handed one over to her. "Read them out loud."
Kim skimmed through and smiled. "You can't be serious." "I'm waiting Kimberley."
She blew out a breath before she began reading. "Rules to adhere to, as the P.A. to Director Alex." She looked up at him. He motioned for her to continue, with his hand.
Sighing she continued.
"Rule number one, must be available at all times.
Rule number two, no talking back at me including eye rolls. Failure to adhere to this rule has grave consequences.
Rule number three, dress smartly at all times, no jeans unless the circumstances demand for it.
Rule number four, must do a perfect job as a P.A. Rule number five, must be flexible.
Rule number six, no body contact with me whatsoever unless the circumstance demands.
And lastly rule number seven, must answer to me at all times." "I believe you can do well to follow the rules."
