Up north, where it had been situated before head headed off to battle the King of Brinda, the palatial resting Camp seated in stillness, just as he remembered leaving it. Endless streams of thoughts coursed through his mind in that very moment. Some were of his victory and exploit against the King of Brinda, and others were about the two people with whom he was to meet very soon.

Riding through the path leading up to the palatial resting camps, tailed by his forever humble and loyal servant, Suraj, Prince Adigun found himself flanked by huge numbers of people who had travelled all th way from Chiroma upon hearing about his exploits. They bowed, went on their knees, and chanted admirably towards his victory.

Songs of praises blared aloud and in testament to his victory, while Suraj joined them in singing in rather off key tune and into the Prince's ear as he waved and applauded them for coming.

"Words does travel fast in Chiroma", Suraj muttered to the Prince.

Prince Adigun smiled, "It would have been faster had I lost to the King of Brinda".

'All Hail The New King of Brinda!" someone from the massive crowd yelled.

"All Hail King Adigun!" others chimed.

They waved their hands and prayed towards him as though he was a god. The soldiers who had been left behind fell to their knees as they too paid heed to his brilliance and might on the battle field. Everyone seemed rather impressed by the Prince's exploit, and he had not expected things in different light either.

"May I take your horse, your highness?" a young man asked while he tethered the horse to a pole and helped the Prince off of the beast.

Prince Adigun looked back at the massive crowd vying and doing their best to catch a glimpse of him while the warriors struggled to keep them back and away. He waved at them one more time, blew kisses to the beautiful ladies winking and blushing at him and then proceeded to pay his attention to the man whom had come to tend to his horse.

"Where are they?" he asked, feeling tightness in his chest and a level of anxiety he never felt while he was faced with the most ferocious beings on the battle field.

It was something he was used to, and one he was undoubtedly going to have to surf through just as he did the other ones.

"Can you hear that, my Prince?" Suraj came running over after tethering his own horse. "The entire Chiroma sings your praises. I bet they are holding a feast for you tonight".

Prince Adigun paused, raised a right brow and shook his head, "It was a victory in battle. What makes it a big deal than the others I have accomplished over the years".

Suraj stomped his feet and seemed to protest, "In case you have conveniently chosen to forget, this is your fiftieth victory in battle and the fiftieth kingdom you have successfully overcome and at a young age as compared to other great king and Princes".

Hearing Suraj describe it in such manner brought some level of excitement to it, but it still didn't in any form of way bring excitement to Prince Adigun. All he saw was war and he believed wars were meant to be won. It felt a little bit embarrassing that he had gotten injured in the process rather than being able to boast about getting out without a scratch.

It would be his second time ever and while he still managed to overpower the King of Brinda, it left a hole in his heart about how the man had killed himself.

"Noble King", he thought before casting the thought away immediately.

Sruaj cleared his throat and hurried around the Prince. "Why aren't you looking happy about it even in the slightest?"
