Streams of nervousness poured through King Adigun's spine and while he looked around to be certain everything was in place, he still could not help but feel left out as well. He had to be sure and he had to get things right again for his dear Queen. The pain and sorrow he saw through her eyes over the past few months seemed to have mellowed and was beginning to clear away after he had asked her to marry him the right way.

Hurrying around and adjusting the decorations in place, he wondered if the maids had missed anything. He had given them clear cut instructions and there was going to be no room for any form or sort of error. It had to be perfect for his woman, and he had to get it right the second time.

"That should do it", he paused for a moment and thought to himself while he stared at the bouquet of flowers right in the middle of the private garden, and just as he had envisioned it to be. It warmed his face with a smile and made him ponder hard and long on how he was certain his woman would love it. After all, it wasn't just for him but majorly for her.

He cleared his throat and clapped his hands at the aids who hurried away. It was the cue they had been waiting for and they knew what to do; he had instructed them clearly.

"Here she comes", King Adigun said to himself with a wild smile.

He shifted his stance for the umpteenth time and brushed his clothing over and over and again in nervous manner with his hand. He had to be perfect for her. He had to come off as perfect as he saw her to be. It was all he could think about, and it was all he wanted in that very moment. Oddly, it wasn't something he ever assumed he was going to feel and it made his heart feel warm again.

Like the Queen she is, Ambika Devi walked through the doors and the maids slowly shut it behind her. She stood in beauty and with her face still well hidden behind the veil, King Adigun felt a sting of desire course through him in that very moment. His toes curled, his palms began to sweat profusely and his feet threatened to slide within the sandals he donned.

His Queen had arrived, and I grand fashion too. The maids had done a good job in making her up, polishing up on her beauty some more, and the sweet scent of lavender that always followed her around slowly made its way through his nostrils. He giggled on the inside like a child, tossed his arms from left to right and eventually stood still as she took her first step towards him.

"You look beautiful", he confessed without knowing the words had slipped past his lips.

Ambika Devi chuckled shyly and tilted her head to the side.

"I don't know what to say", he confessed again. "I wasn't even sure on how this would work or should work".

King Adigun could feel his nervousness slowly begin to try and get the better of him. His words were coming too fast and were definitely becoming too much too. He held his breath and chose to fall silent momentarily and in hopes that she would speak too.

Ambika Devi looked around and then muttered, "This is beautiful".

"Is it perfect enough for you?' he asked. "I can only feel satisfied if this is perfect for you".

She giggled excitedly, smiled at him and then bobbed her head. "It is exactly as a Queen would want".

Thrown aback by her recognition of what he had done, he took a moment to access it all over again. Queens often demanded far more than what he had before him, and to the best of his knowledge, she could have asked for something grander.

"Simplicity has a certain feeling of elegance in it", she noted. "I am not one for extravagant shows and I definitely appreciate how much time and work you put into making all of this happen".

King Adigun felt his heart buff and he knew he had taken up some measure of pride on the inside. He blushed hard and long and then giggled excitedly in return before looking around for the plate he had seen at Suraj's wedding and hurriedly went over to get it. He soon returned, smiled from ear to ear and presented it to his wife so she may go about things the proper way.

Her eyes lit from behind her veil, and he caught a glimpse of her lips as well. It made him chuckle a bit and the longer he stared at her while she slowly began to go on her knees, the more he came to realize he would rather do it with no other woman in the world but her. He wanted her and her alone. He wanted just Ambika Devi.

The day ran along as planned and the ceremony eased out into one of beauty and calm. The newly married couple, for the second time, sat in the garden and feasted their eyes solely on themselves and nothing else. For King Adigun, nothing else mattered, and he would rather be there, listen to her speak, and enjoy her company over and over and again.

It was all he could ask for after all. It was all he believed he needed at that very point in time. He would marvel in the moment and count his breath through the remainder of the night as well.

"I have a question for you", Ambika Devi said out of the blue.

Turning his attention away from the blue moon in the sky, King Adigun replied, "Ask anything of me, my Queen".

She chuckled briefly and then sighed before asking, "How real is this?"

Without taking long to give a response, he replied, "It is as real as my beating heart in this very moment".

With the words aired, he leaned over to her, gently connected his forehead with hers, and marveled in the feeling of her warm breath caressing his lips. Everything felt perfect in that very moment; it was exactly as things ought to be.
