Skullhearts and Skullgirls (On Hiatus)

Great night for a street fight: Part 3

No POV 

We start off where we last left time as Y/n and Nadia stood across from Black Dahlia while Cerebella was facing off against Painwheel, barely managing to hold her ground against the ASG weapon while the former three stood silent for a few moments, our heroes glaring at the permanent smiling mask of Black Dahlia 

Their standstill was ended the moment Y/n's hand clenched into a fist as a ring of skulls formed behind him and he was the first to attack by thrusting an open palm forwards and a skull followed after, flying directly at the assassin who shot it before it could get close 

Taking this chance, Nadia rushed towards her on all fours and leaped up at her, claws shining in the moonlight and ready in an attempt to end the assassin's life but failed as Dahlia used her gun arm to prevent the feral from getting closer, keeping her claws only inches away from her throat and seeing as that wasn't going to work, Nadia then used the arm to swing backwards and then forwards, delivering a strong kick to the woman's abdomen and making Dahlia flinch from the pain and stumble backwards 

With the new distance, Nadia grabbed her own tail as it went straight before she removed it and used it as a blunt weapon to attack Dahlia who stayed on the defense, using her gun to block the hits and after the third hit, she countered with a left hook, landing a hit to Nadia's face and thanks to enhanced strength from her augmentations to become an Anti-Skullgirl Unit, the hit was strong enough to launch Nadia backwards before said woman was caught by Y/n as she held her cheek 

Y/n: "You alright?" 

Nadia: "Just peachy, for a frail old lady, she sure packs a punch" 

Y/n: "Whatever they're feeding her at the retirement home is working wonders" 

The two broke out into a small chuckle as Dahlia heard them, her anger only rising before she attempted to cool herself down to stay focused and not make mistakes while Y/n gave Nadia a pat on the shoulder as he let her stand on her own two feet now and stood forward 

Y/n: "Time for me to stretch these old bones" 

Nadia then saw Valentine getting back up, now ready to fight again which caused her to smirk and stand back up as she reattached her tail and started walking in her direction 

Nadia: "Well Helloooo nurse~" 

Hearing that, Valentine turned her attention from Y/n and Black Dahlia to Nadia who was standing ready for a fight as she sighed and pulled a syringe and a bottle with an Anthrax logo on the side of it as she loaded the contents into the syringe before flicking the tip of the syringe to dispose of any air bubbles that could be trapped in the poison 

Valentine: "Well, I'm not a vet, but I guess I can put you down for a quick treatment, tell me, you're not afraid of needles are you?" 

Nadia: "Not a big fan of them, I hear that 9 out of 10 injections are in vein after all" 

It was quiet between the two of them before Valentine broke out into a small giggle at the Nurse based pun 

Valentine: "Oh that's a good one, I'll have to remember that"

Nadia then grabbed her own head and removed it, using it like a hat as she bowed in appreciation for someone liking her pun much to Valentine's surprise, shock, and awe as said nurse watched the Feral place her head back on her shoulders and continue living

Nadia: "Why thank you, I certainly do pride myself on my jokes, but seriously, you're about to get your ass kicked" 

Nadia then entwined her fingers together as she stretched her arms out forwards, her limbs stretching to reveal the muscles and ligaments underneath while multiple pops where heard before they returned back to normal while Valentine was only in stunned silence at witnessing that before snapping out of it and looking her up and down which Nadia noticed
