Tale Of Twin Kings

Beast King

Moving on from the undead we find ourselves seeing the world of beasts but not just any beast but werewolves.

In the dark forest the sound of branches cracking and twigs snapping echo with only the slightest light from the moon as wild animals run away from their hunter however this was pointless. "Well done son your hunting skills have improved" a large man says as his son ran over to him carrying his prey and turns back to human form. "Thanks dad but as the king your skills are far better than mine" his son said as they walk back to their pack.

"Leo some day my time will come and when that happens you will be king" he says as they rejoin the pack before they return to their village. After returning to the village all the people had a big feast but Leo just looked up at the moon lost in thought about his father's words as a female werewolf walks over to him. "Leo why don't you come and join us after all it is your birthday" the female says but Leo just stays looking at the moon before heading off for a walk his father saw.

Leo was running through the forest in wolf form not focused on where he was going soon found himself next  to another village but this one was populated by humans as Leo was about to head back before hearing screams as pitch black smoke rised in the sky and sees a small farm set ablaze by what looked to be people of a local church. "PLEASE STOP WE ARE NOT MONSTERS" the mother screamed as she holds her son in her arms trying to sheild him from the flames. "This is all in the name of god your son has been around the vampire so we must purge the evil" the followers of the church say as the flames get worse which caused Leo to jump in and break through the flames to help the family out.

"Your ok now as for you how can you attack these people" Leo says before a member of the church slashed Leo's cheek but it was not healing which was odd since his healing factor heals all wounds except for ones made by silver as the church member removed his cloak to reveal a monster hunter. "Looks like I caught myself a werewolf" the hunter says as Leo looked at the family and saw they were terrified but not of him but the church which made Leo stand his ground. Leo rushed at the hunter who goes for another slice but Leo slides under the blade and sweeps the leg before gettin the hunter's arm with the dagger before forcing the hunter to drop it as Leo kicks it away and let the hunter go.

"Now we can fight on equal footing" Leo says as the hunter smiled before taking a boxing stance but without warning moved quick before jabbing Leo in the gut and sends him crashing into a tree. "I take it that your not aware of my type I'm a special monster hunter as I can use in enhancement magic which mean since monsters can't use magic we hunters will always win now die" the hunter says as he pulls out a second dagger and rushed at Leo who is saved when his father who stood between them as blood ran from the wound to the floor all Leo could see was the smile his father gave him before the hunter pulled the blade out allowing the larger wolf to fall. "DAD" Leo screams as he placed his hand on his father's wound hoping to stop the bleeding but it did nothing but he used this moment to speak to his son and pass on the last words.

"My boy listen I may leave you but I will always be with you in here and you have made me so proud" Leo's father says as he closed his eyes and passed away with a smile on his face as tears form in Leo's eyes before Leo's anger erupts like a volcano and his once golden yellow eyes had now turned a bright crimson red before looking at the hunter and lightning appears around him which shocked the hunter because for the first time ever a monster could use magic. Leo soon wasted no time and in the blink of an eye Leo was in front of the hunter and delivers a punch which shoots a stream of lightning which sounded like cracking thunder through the hunter killing him dead which made the followers of the church run away. Leo picks up his dad's lifeless body and carries it back to the village where his people mourn his passing but Leo looked at the throne that was now his before turning to face his people.

"My father was a kind, caring and most of all loyal I may have been his flesh and blood family but to him you are family which is why I will say it now even though we are not blood related I will protect this pack from every enemy" Leo says as he sees that trust of his people before taking the throne and looking out at his people. As Leo watched his people he noticed some bats flying toward a castle which was in the distance as Leo remembers a word that set a fire in him. "Vampire" Leo says as he feels anger build up as vampires and werewolves have hated each other since the dawn of time and this was no different.

Leo was now the new king of his pack which awarded him the title of beast king but this was only the begin as these two kings would need each other in order to complete the journey that will change their live forever.
