Wind Vs Darkness Part 2

In the last chapter I had got into a fight with a member of the holy church called Sherry and she is a wind magic user.

I was stand ready to continue our fight as Sherry did the same as she rushed at me with her wind sword but each strike was slow as I block the sword with my black flames. "Why are you holding back" I asked as she kicked me away and I hold my stomach in pain before seeing her rush at me again but just like before her attacks were too slow. "Tell me why do you care if I hold back" Sherry told me as I saw the conflict in her eyes as I stop using my magic and grab her hands to stop her from moving.

"I'm going to be honest I don't care but you do in this brief time of fighting I can tell you are someone who would not except defeat unless you gave it everything you have so lets fight at our full power and make this dance one to remember" I say as I let her go before jumping back as she looked at her sword. *What a strange monster not like what he told us could it be he was wrong* Sherry thought as her magic power erupts showing her max power as I smile and do the same which caused the ground to shake. As the wind blew I simply watched before she rushed at me with such speed I barely dodged her attack as I notice her using the wind like a spingboard to propel herself like a rocket.

*Not bad but if she can do it so can I* I thought as Sherry came launch at me but I jump and use amaterasu to shoot myself at Sherry like a rocket while also she swings her sword at me but I make a quick flip in mid-air just missing her blade and deliver a kick to the back of her head causing Sherry to go crashing to the floor. "Looks like we are on even footing" I say as Sherry gets back to her feet holding her sword to the ground but I notice the blade was smaller. *She is hitting her limit but then again so am I amaterasu is draining me fast with every use* I thought as Sherry made her wind disappear before dropping the broken sword.

"Lets end this with our fist what do you say king of vampires" Sherry says as I agree and take up a fighting stance as we rush each other she blocks my right hook as I avoid her uppercut while she duck out the way of left jab while I block her left kick forcing us to back up. "This is crazy they both our at the point of exhaustion but yet they can match each other move for move" holy church member says as they watch us ready to continue before one screams looking almost terrified which made me and Sherry look at them before looking at the direction to see a man dressed in a white cloak walking towards us. "Who is that" I asked as Sherry could only look worried.

"That is one of the holy churchs top three know simply as tri-faction the god of war Ares" Sherry says as I look a little shocked as the weight of his presence shook me to the core. "Sherry your team should of dealt with this creature an hour ago but look at you all beaten and worthless I wasn't planning to interfere but it seems I have no choice" Ares said as he held his hand up in the air and soon a ball of pure magic form lighting up the village as if it was the sun. "Now feel my judgement holy magic purification" Ares said as the ball begins to drop towards us getting larger and larger I was about to move as I notice the others weren't.

"You all need to move" I say but they all look defeated as I just ran toward Sherry pulling us all towards the centre of the attack and hold my arm to the sky. "Please let me have enough magic for this" I say the large orb gets closer. "GLUTTONY" I shout as the attack is slowly swallowed by mine but I struggle to hold it as I fall to a knee but I manage to consume the attack without it causing any damage to the village but it does leave me breathing heavy as I look at Ares.

"What is wrong with you they are your allies and you just tried to kill them why because they couldn't kill me why don't you learn some respect" I say as Ares vanished before appearing behind me. "The holy church is a symbol of justice a monster should know your place" Ares says as I quickly turn before he released his magic power showing the gap between our power but even so I stand a little shook but I stand my ground as I block a punch from out of nowhere only to see it came from Ares. "Impressive you blocked my strike with ease but I can tell your not at my level" Ares says as I suddenly feel a strike to my gut sending me crashing into tree behind me as Ares walks over to Sherry.

"You four are banished from the holy church may the great father have mercy" Ares says as he goes for another strike but just before it could hit Sherry it was stopped. As Ares looked back he sees me but I had changed my body was slightly bigger with more muscle as my eyes glowed bright red as I pull him back and toss him away from the group. "It seem you are finally awake go maybe next we meet our battle will be legendary" Ares says as he disappears as I look at the group of former holy church members and kneel in front of them.

"I know you don't like monster but I would like to offer you four a place in our village where monsters and humans work together" I say as I hold out my hand to them. "We have no home to go to not to mention we were just enemies and yet you offer us a place in your kingdom we accept your offer our king" Sherry says as I see the rest agree with her and we head back to the village that houses monsters and humans.
