Chapter 1 Part 2

Shannons POV : I finished all my pre ab test and sats now I hope my parents would let me out of the house. "Mom , Dad can I please get out of the house and see a movie or something ... I know school is tomorrow but.." "Are you crazy you have to get ready for your science hours and study for your ap classes". "But I understand everything". "The only thing you can do is to go get the groceries but you come straight home and study". "Yes father..."

*I hated the fact my parents wouldn't let me outside. If anything I do errands but nothing fun. But I'll bring Victora for some company. I convinced my parents to treat her like a normal kid, only because they could be harder on me. I decided to walk because the general store isn't too far besides there are mini shops on the way I could sneak into for a little. As I walked down Main Street I stopped buy this shoe store. It wasn't much of a store instead it was more of a whole business building. I only had an hour until I had to be home so I only stopped in. "Can I assist you" the cashier said. "No I'm just looking but thank you" I said as I looked around. As I was about to head out I heard two people arguing it sounded like a man shouting at an employee or someone young. I felt bad because I know what it's like but I had to go. I made it to the store and went through my list. I had to get a cast for my mothers hand because she had a very bad version of arthritis. As I was looking through the casts I hear a young man yelling in a painful yet annoyed tone. As I look away I notice he was yelling at a little girl ... I was about to grab Vic but I see her run away from the man towards me. I grab her a try to leave but the man stopped me and tried to apologize, I was so not in the mood to deal with people like him. So I just said how wrong he was and left with the groceries. As I got home I put Victoria to bed and did the same after beginning my collage letters*.

Time jump to the next Morning

I woke up before my alarm and got ready for school. I dropped off Vic at daycare and tried to get to school early because I assist my science class because I can't skip my Junior year. I was a couple minutes late, I hope my parents don't hear of this. The bell already rung while I was running down the hallways. I made it and I was only a couple minutes late. I apologized to Mr Foster and helped during class. As I was introducing myself I noticed a boy named I think Clint talking to someone very familiar and was spitting spitballs at the teachers back. As he was about to scold them I decided to scold him instead. As My Foster ordered him to stay for a talk I knew where I saw that boy, he was the one who yelled at my daughter. I glared at him as I made sure Clint stayed in the classroom. Mr Foster let them leave and I decided to have talk with .. him. They made it to the corner and Clint bolted. As I watched him ran I could sense he was uncomfortable. "Some idiot friend huh , I've experienced that recently" I said to break the silence. I knew I got his attention .. "Listen I was being a dick, I was treating your sister very poorly and I will keep apologizing until she forgives me" I was glad he owned up to it. "She's not my sister" I mentioned. He got all flustered as I could tell he was confused about how young I was. He tried to apologize, making sure he wasn't crossing a line. I tell him he's fine and I walk back. "Can I please make it up to you , Please" I hear him frantically shout out. I nodded as I went back into the classroom. I could hear him talking under his breath as he walked by... I wonder what that was about.
