I Promise (sequel to Promise Me)

Chapter 2

Josh's POV

It's the next day, and the family is coming. Lily is coming, and I don't know how she's gonna handle it.

Within an hour or so, the entire Ballinger family comes piling into the hospital room.
"My baby." Gwen says as she rushes over to Colleen. She runs her hands over Colleens face. "She's gone." Gwen says as tears roll down her face.

"Auntie Panties!" Bailey, Jake, and Parker say. They go to Colleen, and stand in shock.

After everyone saw Colleen, Lily walks in. Her mouth drops to the floor. She sprints over to Colleen.

She shakes Colleen.
"Mommy! Mommy wake up!" She says
"She's not going to wake up, sweetie." I say holding tears back. She turns around.
"What? Why?!"
"Lily honey. Mommy is d-dead." I say letting all my tears out.

"Oh daddy. No. no. no!! She starts balling her eyes out."
She gets on the bed that Colleen is on.
"Mommy. why. why did you have to leave me? Why did you have to go to heaven? Why did you choose to leave daddy all alone?" She lays next to Colleen, and dosent say a word.

"Lily, it wasn't Mommys choice to leave. She had something wrong with her brain, and she wasn't feeling well at all. She had to let go."

"Josh. We should have a funeral for Colleen." Gwen says.

I nod. "of course we will." I say back.

"Ballinger family? " The doctor says.
Gwen turns around.
"Yes doctor?"
"Your time is up to see Colleen. It's time to leave."
"Oh. uh. ok then." Everyone piles out. Even Lily.

SORRY THIS CHAPTER WAS A LITTLE SHORT. I'm in school rn.

Burin haven't updated in a while! I'm SUPER BUSY! I made it to regionals for my Track team, I had a surf competition, I've had lacrosse practice, basketball practice, and track practice filling up my whole week. But I'm back now! Track season is over, basketball season is over, and Lacrosse season ends on Saturday. So I'll be updating a lot!! I have some things planned for this story. DONT BE MAD AT WHAT I DO IN THE STORY. just sayin😏
