Chapter 4

Josh's POV

I wake up in my bed, Lily is next to me sleeping. I quietly get up, and walk out of my bedroom. I walk out to a quiet house. Colleen used to make all the noise when she got up before me. That was because she always made me breakfast.

I take a deep breath. I still can't get the fact that Colleen and I will never kiss again, never hug again, never hold hands again, never joke about poop again, never tour again, not make anymore Miranda videos again, and never see each other again.

I sit down on the couch and turn on the tv. I forgot Lily turned up the volume and was watching Pony Princess last night. I clicked the on button on the remote.

"PINK SPARKLE WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT POLKA DOT CUPCAKE?" The tv blasted Pony Princess.

"GAAH" I yell.

I instantly turn it off, hoping Lily didn't wake up.

"Daddy?" I hear.
"Yes sweetie."
"Let's watch Pony Princess."
"Okay. Come out here"
Lily comes out holding Colleens old, nasty, pink baby blanket. I've always hated that thing. But now that she's gone, it's one thing I love.

Lily comes on the couch, and I turn on the show.

(A few hours later)

It's just me and Lily. I made kale chips for me and her.

"Daddy?" She asks.
"Yes sweetie?"
"Is it my fault that mommy died?" She asks with a frown.
"No honey! It's not your fault!"
"Then why was I born early? I gave her the tumor. Me being born caused her to die."
"Lily. It was not your fault! Mommy was just not well. Don't think it was your fault."
My heart sank.
Lily nods, and puts kale chips in her mouth.

I'm dropping Lily off at Chris' house, because I'm going to a club with Arnold.

"Bye Lily!" I say driving off.
I get to Arnold's house, and honk my horn.

He walks out, "hold your horses!" He yells

"Hurry up!" I say

He get in the car, and we drive off.

We get to the club, and it's huge! There is a big bar, and lots of hot girls.

"SNAP OUT OF IT JOSH." I hear myself say.

"What?" Arnold says.
"Oh nothing."

Arnold and I are sitting at the bar, and I see this really cute girl.

I can't help it, but stare. She has beautiful brown hair, with brown eyes.

Man she's breathtaking.
