Ebony is a young Fire Pendraig girl who lives in Felarya with her foster father, Rowan. No one knows how her egg ended up in the greedy hands of the "A New Chance" slave trade. When she hatched, she was 6 ft tall and was put in chains. The leader of the slavers was a cruel female elf who enjoyed beating her merchandise as long as they didn't die on her. This continued until the slave caravan ran into an adult male Earth Pendraig named Rowan. When he found out that the caravan were slaves, he demanded the cruel elven slaver to release the slaves or he would destroy them. The female elf refused and Rowan wiped out her group and imprisoned the elven slaver inside of one of the slave cages. After dealing with the slavers, Rowan began freeing the slaves and noticed Ebony's tiny body. The group soon met a clumsy blonde giantess named Jora who explained to Rowan how Felarya works and agreed to lead the group to Safe Harbor after Jora ate the female elf. Ebony was envious of Jora eating her former captor. As they headed to Safe Harbor, Rowan carried Ebony in his hands, she felt safe next to him. Once they arrived at Safe Harbor, they found Jora's friend Jade being attacked by two succubi. As one of the succubi was trying to control Rowan, Ebony raced over to the giant succubus and stung her foot. The giant succubus grabbed Ebony by her barbed tail and swallowed her. Ebony's cries for help snapped Rowan out of the succubus's control and brutally killed the succubus and freed Ebony from being digested by the succubus. After the battle was over Rowan asked Jade to teach him and Ebony how to survive in Felarya. After witnessing Rowan's ferocity, she reluctantly agreed to teach them.
Description: Ebony is a young Fire Pendraig girl with ebony black scales, fair skin, long black hair, orange eyes, wings on her arms, and a venomous barbed tail. She also has some scars on her back from being beaten by the slavers. She wears a Kensha Beast skin dress that Rowan and Jade had made for her.
Character: At first Ebony was shy around Rowan due to how the slavers treated her, now she is a little holy terror. Ebony seems to have a nose for trouble and is very mischievous, she is constantly rescued by Rowan who can't help but wonder how could such a small child like her cause so much trouble. She loves Rowan like a father since she never met her parents and wonders why they didn't come for her when she was captured by the "A New Chance" slave trade. She likes her many aunt's especially Crisis, when the two of them are together there is bound to be all kinds of mischief. She also likes hanging out with her friend Seliky, she loves helping the albino eight-year-old girl build new things. Like Rowan, she has PTSD from her days as a slave and almost being eaten alive by a giant succubus.
Hunting Habits: Ebony was taught by Rowan and Jade to hunt animals instead of sentient beings. She loves duiker meat. Due to her small size, she'll sneak up on the duiker and sting them with her barbed tail. Her venom acts quickly and can kill a Kensha Beast.
Special abilities: Like all Fire Pendraig, Ebony's fire breath is hotter than the planet Mercury and can burn through metal. Her barbed tail can shoot out quills with enough venom to kill an adult Kensha Beast. She is still learning how to fly from Rowan though her first attempt almost gave him a heart attack.
Family and friends: Ebony never knew her biological parents and sees Rowan as her father. She sees Jade as a strict mentor who cares about her. She loves playing with Jora's adopted daughter Tanny, like Ebony, Tanny lost her parents when she arrived in Felarya and was taken in by Jora. She also likes playing with Seliky and helping the albino eight-year-old girl test her new inventions and also playing predator and prey, poor Seliky is always the prey. Ebony enjoys spending time with her aunt Crisis and Léa, when the two are together there is bound to be mischief much to Anna's and Rowan's dismay.
Enemies: Ebony hates the "A New Chance" Slave trade with a passion and doesn't trust elves either due to her abuse by the slavers elven leader. She is afraid of succubi and avoids them at all costs, even Menyssan who is a friend of Crisis. She is still mad at Queen Nemyra for almost killing Rowan for believing that he would unleash an evil Pendraig named Nidhogg. Despite Queen Nemyra's intentions to protect Felarya, it will take a long time for Ebony to trust the queen of the fairies or the other Guardians.
