Steph's pov:

After hours of talking on the phone with Isabella or as I now call her ,Isa ,we finally hang up and continue with our day. Or if we're being specific ,we carry on with our evening.

Hearing muttering ,whispering and shuffling outside my door,I leave my phone on my bed  and I get up and begin to walk towards my door. Opening it ,my brothers come tumbling into my room as if they were leaning on the door eavesdropping.  They probably were.

"I'm guessing you've been out here for a while." I comment looking down on them.
"Heh. Are we that obvious." Tim asked sheepishly.
I give them a look and said "yes you are that obvious and if you weren't I'd call an ambulance."  "Okay no need to attack us." Jason stated. Sighing I turn back to my bed and sit back where I was before I got interrupted.  "Well?" I question. "I'm sure you want to hear what we talked about. Unless you want to stay out there and you can leave with only my side of the conversation."   "No no no no no." Dick gushed.
"We'll come in." Damian said walking in fist and the others following ,even Cass. "Really Cass? You too." I whine.  "Sorry. I just really want to know about her." Cass replied.  "We all do." Tim stated.   "Okay ,but get comfy ,this might take a while." I commented.

*time skip*

"Wow. She sounds amazing." Jason stated ,slumped against the wall near my window.  "Yeah. She does." Tim replied ,as he lifted his head to look at everyone from his spot on my desk chair.  "I mean ,what did we expect. She's literally a badass." Damian commented ,lying on the floor near the end of my bed.  "Well yeah. But did you expect any less ,she your soulmate ,boys." Cass stated from her position on the floor ,leant against my bed.  "Yeah we might be awesome ,but I'm pretty sure she's what kept us going these past couple years." Dick countered Cass' statement whilst sitting on the floor on the other side of my bed. "Yeah." The boys agreed.

"You guys deserve her though-" I began ,but my phone ringing interrupted me. "Who is it?" Jason questions.  "Isabella." I reply. "Wha- really?" Dock asks. "Yes ,now shush." I comment before answering the phone.

*in the phone call*

"Hey." I say.   "Steph ,I know that we just got off the phone with each other a while ago ,but I just remembered something from earlier that I would like to ask." Isabella rushed out.
"Shoot." I reply.   "Pew." Isa replies.  Everyone in the room snickers or hides their laugh.  "Really ,again?" I question.  "Yes. Anyway ,you said your grandads name was Alfred. Right." She continued with her question. "Yup." I reply popping the 'p'.  "Well ,is his last name Pennyworth by any chance?" Isa asks.
"Yeah? How did you know that?" I answer.   "Oh-I-Uhm- I met him in mako park a while back." She replied after hesitating.  "Oh yeah ,he mentioned something about a girl named Isabella in the park." I comment ,pretending to be clueless about the situation.  "Okay. Well I have to go feed Lola and Iris ,but I'll call you tomorrow." She excused herself before hanging up.

*call finished*

"That was her." Tim spoke. "Yeah." I replied. "And we're sure now." Damian spoke up. "Yeah." I replied.
"And we don't have to beat around the bush ,we can just go meet her now." Dick stated. "Yeah- wait no!" I interrupt myself. "What! Why?" Dick asked. "We can't just ambush her. I'll let her know in the morning and we'll see if she wants to meet up in the afternoon." I rationalise. "I hate to say this ,and trust me I really do ,but I think Steph is ......right." Jason (surprisingly) agrees with me.

"So we get to meet her!" Dick asked ,looking hopeful.

"Soon." I replied. "Soon."
