Isabella's pov:

Thursday morning.
9:40am

Lying in bed and staring up at the ceiling completely awake ,I wait for Steph's daily phone call. With the ringing finally arriving and interrupting my staring contest with the ceiling ,I sit upright and answer almost immediately.

*in the phone call*

I- "Good morning" somehow I manage to speak first.
S- "wow you actually sound awake."
S- "And good morning to you too."
I- "Maybe I sound awake because I am awake."
S- "Impossible ,this early." She gasped.
I- "Okay. Okay. I get it I'm not a morning person."
S- "No you are not."
I- "Uh ,rude."
S- "You said it first."
I- "whatever"
I- "Are we still all good to meet up?" I ask as a smile grows on my face.
S- "Yup! All good. Even the boys got up early."
S- "I think we freaked out Bruce."
I- "Does he know you're meeting up with me?"
S- "Not quite....but Alfred does! He always knows."
I- "Okay? Are you going to tell him?"
S- "Probably not."

"Please tell me you did not just shrug when she can't see you."
I hear a familiar voice echo in the background. Damian.
"So what if I did? Stop being so judgy." Steph replied.
"Well here's the thing,she can't see you!"
I heard another voice join in.
Tim.

"Are you all judging Steph? I'm pretty sure everyone has nodded or shrugged over the phone when the other person can't see them. Common thing." I state.

"Thank you!" Steph comments. "This is why you're my favourite."  "Rude."  "Don't act like you don't have favourites Dick." Steph retorted. "Now shoo."
"Did we jus get dismissed? Again?" I heard Jason chip in. "Yes. Now leave. Goodbye. Be gone." Steph spoke.

S- "Now that they're gone ,what are you going to wear?"
I- "It's a surprise."
S- "Does that mean you haven't planned your outfit?"
I- "No. I planned it last night."
S- "Okay. I have to go get ready and harass my sibling into looking presentable."
I- "Harass them?" I ask laughing.
S- "Yes. Now go get ready."
I- "Okay. See you in a bit."
S- "Bye." She stated before hanging up.

*call finished*

Looking at the lock screen on my phone I glance at the time before deciding to get up. After making my bed I head towards my bathroom ,to shower the nerves away.

*small time skip.*

Stepping out of the shower I grab a towel and dry myself off. Wrapping it around me ,I grab another towel and secure my hair in it. Padding out the bathroom I grab my phone and start playing some music.

As I dry my hair at my vanity table (dressing table) ,I decide what hairstyle I want to do. Quickly and skilfully I put half of my hair in space buns and leave the other half down and slightly wavy. Moving on quickly I check the time. 10:20am. Walking over to my wardrobe(closet) my eyes quickly land on the outfit I had picked out the previous night. Slipping off my towel and pulling on my clothes I try not to fall over while putting on my jeans.

Being successful ,I turn off my music and make my way towards Lola and Iris' room. Seeing them both back asleep ,as I had let them out and fed them earlier, I exit the room quietly and shut the door behind me.

Finding my way to mums door I go to knock before hearing her call out from downstairs. "Izzie! Don't knock on my door ,I'm not in there."  "I get that now!" I laugh ,turning away from her door. "So....are you excited? Nervous? Nervecited?" Mum asks as soon as my feet touch the downstairs floor. "Oh no. I'm totally calm. I mean it's not like I'm meeting my soulmates or anything." I comment. "Okay." She scoffs. "You look great by the way."  "Thanks and I am slightly nervous." I return.

"How long do you have till you meet up?" Mum asks.
I look at the time. 10:45am. "Forty-five minutes until I see them ,although I'll probably leave at like ten past." I reply.  "Good that means you have time for breakfast." She spoke.  "Im not hungry-" I try to say ,but I get dragged towards the kitchen instead.
"Never mind then." I continue.

*time skip*

"Alright. I think it's time for me to head out." I say after glancing at the clock. "I'll see you soon." Mum says bringing me into a hug. "I love you." I say ,pulling away from the hug moments later. "I love you too. Be safe." She replies ,waving as I leave.
Taking a deep breath I shut the door ,turn around and walk away ,towards Mako Park.

The walk towards the park was serene yet chaotic. It might have been because my emotions were all over the place but whatever. The journey felt incredibly short. Too short. That may have been because I was walking fast but I guess we'll never know. As I reach the entry way to the park I check the time once again. 11:20am. Definitely walked fast. Taking a deep breath I walk in and look around. Quickly spotting the familiar face of Steph standing with four males -who were looking around nervously- and another female -who had an anxious expression on her face.

Hesitating slightly at the burn coming from my soul marks ,I gather my thoughts and start towards the group of six. Steph spotting me first swiftly points me out and tugs who I assume is Cass along with her as the three of us walk towards each other.  Without either of us saying a word I embrace Steph for a few seconds before pulling away and turning to Cass. After giving her the same greeting we have a silent agreement and walk towards the boys ,with the two walking slightly behind.

With the boys staring and no indications of any of them saying a word I take the lead.

"Hey." I breathe.
