Third persons pov:

It had been two weeks since the fight against Two-face and had been three days since the truth had come out. Unsurprisingly, word had spread quickly that the four beloved hero's could have found their soulmate. Lustful girls were disappointed, envious and even mad. Villains were desperately searching for any clue as too who the soulmate was. Some cops were using this as a way to find the identities of the hero's ,and others -like Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock- were more concerned on the effect that this chaos would cause on the young women's mental and physical health.

And the boys ,they were nonchalant but worried (Damian) concerned and on the verge of being distraught (Dick) going insane with the lack of sleep achieved (Tim) and severely protective and angry (Jason).

Yes ,they had expected there to be repercussions-but they didn't expect an eruption of chaos.

This newly revealed information was ending the entirety of Gotham into a spiral of online debates ,physical fights ,verbal fights and it sure as hell was making their nightly activities harder. The villains and petty crooks took to calling them 'lover boys' which was not appreciated.

Isabella ,well she was kinda overwhelmed at the same time (I guess you could just say she's whelmed) and didn't know what to feel. Practically the whole city knew of her ,but didn't know her. There were many blogs ,websites and newspaper articles that had her hero's (and anti-hero) as a headline. The newspapers often using the title 'Gothams hero's finally found their soulmate?' Or 'City wide hunt for the soulmate of Gothams finest.'

It was vexing to say the least. Everywhere she went ,someone was talking about it. "Oh my god. Did you hear about the news. The hero's found their soulmate." And "She's so lucky ,I mean she gets not one ,not two ,not three but four hot men. I wish to be her." At the point in time she was getting tired of hearing about herself ,and seeing questions about her in the papers. Sure ,Isabella was confident and self-loving ,but there's only so many speculations she can take hearing and seeing. At first it was amusing to see ,online battles of people debating her looks ,her height and her age. Some even got scarily close to guessing what she looks like.

Although it did stop being funny when there was a significant rise in crime. Even though it had only been three days ,there was almost quadruple the amount of theft ,assaults ,attempted murders and arrests. Jim Gordon had made many of these arrests. Harvey Bullock had also made these arrests ,only he was cussing them out more and if they resisted he might throw a punch or two. Not that he would let Jim know. Even though they never spoke about the rise in crime ,they had a mutual understanding. If they were tired of working long hours because of it ,tired of hearing and seeing about the newly proclaimed event ,then they had no idea how the hero's and their soulmate would be feeling. Even though Jim may not approve of the hero's ,he still would never wish this type of harassment on anyone.

Harvey ,on the other hand ,was all for beating up whoever spoke about hurting the young woman. He felt protective over Gotham -naturally- and if the rumours were true ,this person is now a player in a series of brutality. He had seen the websites. Some people were supportive of this new soulmate ,but others only wanted to bring the five down. To make sure that they didn't feel happiness. Harvey wasn't opposed to arresting these people ,but as Jim had pointed out many times—there were more important crimes to deal with.

And as mentioned before ,the wave of crime made the bat family's night-jobs a lot harder. It seemed as though new villains were springing up through the cracks ,and appeared everywhere they went.

Jason's territory down by the docks was under constant attack ,so much so that the gangs left in the area almost started their businesses again. Almost. Everywhere he went ,BOOM. New villain. Or petty crook. Or murder. Or rapist. 'Oh look an almost active gang. Let me just—oh wait never mind. I have to deal with this shithead and then the gang.' He hated that some people could get away from him ,just because of these new villains.

Dicks patrol was always interrupted. 'Oh a mugging. Let me just go and—oh never mind. Now I have to deal with this villain.' It became annoying when they started commenting on his love life. 'Look boys! It's the famous hero ,lover boy!' Or 'What are you going to do? Love me to prison.' He usually replied with a sassy comment ,but in the end ,he just punched them to shut them up. With a small sassy comment attached.

Damians patrol was messy to say the least. Obviously he worked on his own sometimes. And when he did it wasn't to much hassle to take down a few extra 'unworthy fighters.' But ,when he was with Batman ,that was a different story. When they were together ,the slightly more than average villains attacked them. Flying ,crawling ,running and walking to them form all sides. Let's just say they ended up with a few extra cuts and bruises.

Tim's patrol was definitely the most chaotic. He was often manhandled by thugs ,flirted with by women ,attacked by grandmas and grandpas and bitten by dogs ,cats ,foxes and monkeys. 'Oh look a monkey. Would Damian like a monkey? I think he would. Here monkey. Come here—OW son of a bitch! You bit me! Why would you bite me! Bad monkey! Bad ,Bad monkey!' He wasn't happy ,and nor was Damian. He didn't want a monkey. He needed one ,and not only did Tim let it get away ,he also yelled at it. How rude.

Cass was usually found bullying the vipers gang for shooting Steph. She found pleasure in their surprise when she showed up from the shadows and beat them to a pulp. One time ,Jason heard the commotion and went to check it out. It was his territory after all. Let's just say he found very bloody and bruised gang members ,and an untouched grinning Cass. He felt like a proud parent.

Alfred was usually on comms. But sometimes he had to abandon them to deal with a home invasion. Apparently a lot of people wanted to rob the Wayne manor. Of course Alfred is a Bad B (butler) and took them down easily. He also lectured them as to why stealing was a bad career. About how rude it is to steal. About how improper it is to steal. Sometimes ,he lectured them so well ,they never robbed another person again. A job well done in his eyes.

Steph was often sat with Alfred ,as the rest of the bat family didn't want her back patrolling until she was fully healed. Which was understandable in her eyes. The good part of sitting out ,is that she got to watch Alfred kick ass. She was fascinated with the ferocity of which he fought with. Steph sometimes suggested that Alfred should take her place in patrol. He politely declined pointing out that she wouldn't be able to admire Cass from afar if he took her job ,too which she agreed and withdrew her statement.

Bruce ,what to say about Bruce. Well ,he was glad everyone was taking down the criminals swiftly and carefully ,but he hated the fact that there was so many new criminals. He was proud of his family for dealing with this extra pressure ,he would never say it though.

Even though the new rose of criminals may tear their patrol schedules apart ,the new arrangement may just bring them closer together.
