At the Kellys' house, Sonja and Maxie were starting to get worried.
"It's been about an hour since they left," Maxie said. Are they okay?"
"They are for sure, honey," Sonja replied. "They can defend themselves."
They sat around for some time, when they finally heard their car arrive in their driveway. They turned back and looked at Harrison carrying Chloe in his arms with Whitney and some random woman running to the door. Whitney started to frantically ring the doorbell. Maxie ran to the door and opened it. Harrison just ran into Chloe's room. The random lady ran behind him and into her room. This confused the hell out of Sonja and Maxie. Whitney just shrugged.
"She was just attacked by some robots and we fought them."
This alarmed them a little. They tried to go inside, but Whitney stopped them both.
"If you're both there, you'll be stressed out a lot. We'll let you inside when she's a little better."
They wanted to go inside, but Whitney and Chloe were both 3rd year med students, so they both knew what they were doing. They just stopped. Then Maxie asked her a question.
"Is she going to be okay?" he asked her.
"I... I'm gonna try my best..."
"And who's that lady with you?" asked Sonja.
"She... she's a friend, I guess."
They both just nodded and went to their room. Whitney just turned around and went into Chloe's room. There, she just saw Chloe lying unconscious in her bed while Harrison frantically wrapped her in blankets and tried to crank up the heat. Whitney snapped out of her autopilot and rushed around to help Harrison and take command of the room.
"Harrison," she said while tucking Chloe under the blankets, "get a pulse oximeter from Chloe's desk. I know she has one."
"The what?" he replied.
"The pulse oximeter."
"What is that?"
"The small, black stapler looking thingy."
Harrison went and grabbed the oximeter from Chloe's desk.
"Here is the oxygen measuring stapler thingy you asked for" he said while handing it to Whitney.
She grabbed the oxygen measuring stapler thingy, took Chloe's hand and clipped it on her index finger. She waited for a few seconds, and the results showed up. It said "89". A little low, but not anything to worry about. She removed the oximeter and just tucked her arm under the blanket again. She then turned to Harrison and Athena.
"You guys go and have something to eat," she told them. "I'll keep an eye on her."
"But-"
"Guys, please go. You both must be tired and hungry. Also, while you're at it, can you make some Chicken Nuggets for me?"
Athena was a little surprised when she heard this.
"You cook?" she asked, turning towards Harrison.
"Yeah, I do. I make the food in this house. Which is why nobody dares to mess with me. They don't know what I could be mixing in their food."
"What?"
"You heard what you heard." He then flashed a cute smile, turned and left, only to bang his head on the door frame, and after insulting the door frame's parentage, left for the kitchen.
Athena just sneaked a glance at him and then back to Whitney.
"Well," she said, "I know not to mess with him now." She then just grabbed her phone and went outside to make some calls, closing the door behind her.
