The humidity is still attacking Florida. I lay out by the pool, Ena beside me, trying to get a tan. We don't get much girly time anymore, Nick always wants to be with her and I suppose I like clay company.
"Guess what!" She disturbs me from my day dream
"What?
"Guess!" I throw her a cautious glare "okay, okay. We finally told each other we loved each other" I let out a squeal
"Tell me everything!" It happens whilst they we're playing 8 ball pool, not the most romantic way but her smile never quivered throughout it.
"Cannon ball!" Nick announces his presence by jumping into the pool resulting in Ena and I getting splashed.
"Watch out! Watch out! WATCH OUT!" Clay imitates a wwe move when he's jumps in
"Yeah thanks guys" Enas voice is sarcastic, she gets up and orders the boys to move from the deeper end of the pool, she then perfectly dives, barley causing any splashing
"Okay best till last!" I walk to the edge, hold my nose an pencil jump into the water. I swim to Ena and waterboard her
"That's a type of torture yanno!?" She tells me once she's stopped coughing and spluttering
"I can't believe you motorboated her" nick cackles
"Whatttt" Clay shrieks "motorboated? Did I miss this?"
"Dude it just happened"
"No she got water boarded. Nick, you're such a fucking ass!"
In the water we Play chicken and do a Handstand Contest and a Diving Contest, we find out the Ena was a athlete, she came 3rd in her state for swimming. Finally we went into the house, to shower and change
I sit on the toilet seat (like the lid) with a towel wrapped around me waiting for the shower to warm up. Then I'm greeted with three knocks
"Can I come in" clays behind the door, instead of responding I just open the door
"What's up?" His towel is hung low on his hips, revealing this vline
"I just missed you" I rolled my eyes
"Nope. I think you missed something else" I tease. I stand up so we're insufferably close "I'm about to hop in the shower" I run my tounge across my bottom lip, my teeth come to follow it
"Yeah- I - uh" he stutters like a fool
"Come on clay, you're a big boy, use your words" his face turns to shock at me patronizing him.
"You're gonna wish you never spoke to me like that" his face turns dark a smirk riddles his face. "Get in the shower" he orders, I drop my towel and he's soon to follow. "I'm not sure why you spoke to me like that, but I'll make sure to fuck the attitude out of you" I stay quiet, he pushes himself against me and grabs my throat from behind, he pushes it so my head is slightly over my shoulder. He leans in and tongue fucks my mouth, his spare hand reaches down and tugs on my nipples, he focus on the one without a piercing. And just as he promises, he fucks me senseless.
Ena texts me saying her and nick went out for food 30 minutes ago. I leave clay at the computer, he's talking to his friends but is on push to talk so we can still chat
"Clay? Do you want any carrots and hummus?"
"Yeah give me a sec" he responds. I hear the front door click, I'm stood at the fridge in a oversized t-shirt, I presume it's Nick and Ena coming back from their meal
"Clay? Honey? Can you come help me" I Spinn on my toes and met with a woman, I can see her face as she's got brown paper bags over it
"Mom?" Clay calls out worry fills his voice
"Hurry up I've got groceries!" He clicks open and he comes jogging towards her. She lets out a sigh at the release of the groceries. I stand not knowing what to say.
"Mom this is Lara. Lara this is my mom" he looks between us both
"Hi nice to meet you mrs. Goldfield" I extend my hand
"Yes, you too Lara" she has a small tight lipped smile. She takes my hand and gives it small shake "so are you clays new lady friend?" She seems posh
"Ahaha no, nicks dating my best friend" she looks me up and down
"Right." She nods her head "clay, dinners still on next Thursday, Lacey and Aaron want to announce something. You can come too I suppose Lara" her gaze flickers to me then immediately focus back on clay, looking him up and down this time, her eyebrows pinch "you need to put your pants the right way round dear" she nods and leaves.
I crunch a carrot stick
"Your mum doesn't like me" I huff
"She does, don't worry, I recon she's just shocked" he walks behind me and starts massaging my elbows
"So what's laceys news" he tells me everything about his family, what grades they get, their boyfriends, how many points they score while playing sports. You name it I probably know it
"She's engaged." He takes a a carrot sick and shrugs
"What? ENGAGED?" I squeal jolting away from him
"Yeah it happened last night"
"Why didn't you mention it?"
"She called me last night and you were asleep"
"You're a bloody pain"
"A bloody pain in your arse" he mimicks
Ena comes home after her date, I tell her about the run in claire Goldfield, we both decide we don't really care for her. We then talk about what we're going to wear to the anniversary announcement. Nick and Ena were invited also, Ena actually has met Claire before. Her and nick ran into her at a whole foods and her experience wasn't much different.
