The Uzumaki Family

A/n: just so you know, this story takes place in the modern world but chakra,Jutsu's and kekkai genkai still exist.

It was a normal day.

Sakura working at the hospital since she's a medical nurse.

Sarada at school with her friends.

Fugaku (Sasuke and Itachi's father and Mikoto's husband) was still working at the police department.

Sasuke was out.

Itachi was out.

Obito doing who knows what.

Rin and Izumi went training.

And Izuna went with Madara to the Senju brothers; Hashirama and Tobirama.

So, that just left Mikoto, who stayed to do housework and watch Y/n while everyone else was busy.

Y/n was now 5  months old and is starting to learn how to crawl.

Mikoto was washing the dishes while Y/n sat on the floor and played with some new baby toys the girls had gotten her and some of Sarada's old toys when she was a baby.

[Hours later...]

The front door was knocked. Mikto picked up Y/n to go open it.

Once she opened the door, she saw Sarada with a little blonde hair boy with blue eyes and whisker-like markings, 2 older woman with one having red hair and the other having bluish-purple with pearly who was holding a baby that looked like her.

"Kushina! Hinata! Welcome!" Mikoto greeted. "I didn't know you were going to pick up Sarada. I could've done it." She smiled.

The red head, who's name was Kushina, giggled.
"Sorry that it was unexpected, Mikoto. But I just saw her while we picked up Boruto and decided to just drop Sarada off home." She said. She then noticed Y/n and began to squeal.

"Oh my Kami! Who's this adorable child! Did you and Fugaku decide to have another kid? A daughter?"

"Huh?! N-no. She's not my daughter. Madara found her." Mikoto explained.

"What do you mean?" Hinata asked.

Mikoto welcomed the Uzumaki family in and then explained about Y/n. How she was found by Madara, being half-blood Uchiha...

"Ohh. So that explains the eyes." Kushina says.

"Look Himawari. Meet Y/n." Hinata says to the young purple haired girl. Himawari waved at the young child who tried to crawl towards her.

Y/n smiled and gave happy gurgle noises.

"Can I hold her?" Boruto asks. Mikoto nodded and gently picked Y/n up and have her to boruto.

"Hi, Y/n! My name is Boruto Uzumaki and I'm gonna be the greatest!" He said with determination but Y/n didn't understand him but just smiled anyways. He then gestures towards Himawari. "And that's my little sis, Himawari. Then my mom" he shows the baby to his mother, the older purple headed woman. And lastly, he shows Y/n to Kushina. "And that's my grandma!"

"Ptthhb! Prhbb!" Y/n gurgles

Boruto put Y/n down who slowly crawled to Himawari, who just walked to her to help her stand up but failing.

"So,Sarada. What do you think about Y/n?" The blonde boy aks.

"Hm..I don't know. But I think of her as like a little sister and I'm willing to protect her from danger!" She smiled.

Later, it was time for the Uzumaki to leave.

"It was nice seeing you again, Mikoto! The children should have a play date! Like our sons did years ago!" Kushina said to her best friend.

Mikoto nodded. "Sure thing!"

"Bye bye, Y/n!" Himawari waved by at the younger child. Y/n mimicked her and also waved. "B-...bi"

After the door closed, Mikoto sat down to take a small nap while Sarada began to play with Y/n and read her stories about adventures and stuff.

The day went by quick and soon, everyone was back.

"What a day.." Mikoto thinks to herself as she gets comfortable and close her eyes.

Just so no one gets confused, here's their ages.

Sarada and Boruto (plus their Friends) are 8 years old.

Himawari is 3 years old.

And Y/n, 4 months old.
