Hanamura Cafe and Diner was a small stout building next to the crime scene. Ran by Teruteru Hanamura. It was always extremely busy. Luckily, for them, it happened to be eerily empty. Maybe a murder nearby isn't too good for business.

The late after noon sun shined lazily through the windows.

Maki sat Kiibo in a little red booth.

"After our rendezvous, I suppose that I'll take the glass over to the lab. It might just break this case wide open."

Kiibo tapped his hand on the table in thought.

"What're you doing?" Maki questioned.

"What do you mean?"

"Stop that. You look bothered. What's going on?"

"Well, I spent the night at Saihara's last night."

"Oh?" Maki lifted an eyebrow as she fixed the salt and pepper to line up neatly againt the napkins.

Kiibo blushes. "Not in that way!"

"I just didn't expect it. Aren't you company property."

"Property?! That's robophobic!"

"Anyways, continue."

"Well. I found this." Kiibo pulled the bloody tissues he had been holding on to and placed them on a napkin on the table.

Maki took a glance before inspecting them.

"I found this one where Mr. Amami sat when Shuichi and I talked to him. And this one in Shuichi's house."

"That's peculiar? Who's blood do you think this is?"

"I wish I knew but Shuichi had a bunch in his trash can in his bathroom."

"What do you think?"

"I don't know exactly. Will you take this to the lab?"

"Sure. Let's hurry up and get them off the table. Don't want anyone to see this."

They tied the tissues in the restraunt napkins and Maki placed them in an evidence bag which she promptly put away.

A waitress glided over to the table. "Hi! My name is Hina! I'll be your waiteress this afternoon! Can I hand you some menus?"

"Of course."

Hina was super bubbly. Her medium brown hair bounced vibrantly in the golden sunlight. She passed Kiibo and Maki a menu.

"If you want to hear my two cents, Teru makes pretty good donuts. I take them to swim practice every week. But order whatever you want."

Kiibo began to look at the menu. He slowly thumbed his way over the pictures. "What're you gonna get Harukawa-san?"

Maki looked briefly at the menu. "I don't know. What about you...." she trailed off. She must've realized Kiibo couldn't eat. He began to look down. "You pick me out something. You look like you have a good eye."

Kiibo realizes what she did. But who cares? They were a bit excited pick out something for a friend. 'What would Harukawa-chan like?' He wondered. "Oh, this one might be suitable for you." He pointed proudly.

"Er, a strawberry shortcake?"

"Well, its small and cute like you."
Maki looked at Kiibo and a red blush slowly inked her face. "What a charmer."she smirked "Lucky for you I like sweet things."

After they ordered Maki began to play with her hair. "Its much shorter from when I first met you."
