A Not Date and Date

Isak drove to the mansion which is closer to upper Arkwood. Earlier Arkyn had shared the location. The mansion had a long driveway and it looked majestic from this far, evidently a new mansion built in old architectural style. He was greeted by Arkyn's guards who accepted the key from him and politely nodded to the entry. He stepped in.

"Sorry, there is no one here to receive you. You see it is kind of just me and my mom here," said Arkyn as he came out.

"Where is your mom? It's rude to not greet her," said Isak.

"Ah, she is at the hospital for a routine check-up. I am sure you will meet her one day," said Arkyn and led him to the tea room where his painting was hung.

"Feel free to look around," said Arkyn and left. He came in with a plate laden with tea and biscuits.

They sat around talking about Arkyn's work for a while.

"We are adults. So I think we can be honest about our intentions. I would very much like to seriously date you and mate with you in future. If that's something you will be intersted in, we can pursue that or I could use a friend," said Arkyn.

Isak was surprised and charmed by the honesty. He looked down.

"I am what you can call a traditional omega in terms of finding my mate. If my parents and my brothers agree only will I get mated. They are the ones you will have to convince," said Isak.

"Does that mean you are already convinced?" asked Arkyn.

"No. It means, you can try and convince me," said Isak cheekily. Arkyn snorted and their eyes met.

"How about I introduce you to my staff team?" asked Arkyn. Isak nodded. They stepped out of the room and came across a woman with an apron on at first.

"This is Madam Lucinda, our cook here," said Arkyn. Lucinda gave a small bow and left.

"These are my guards Rikardo and Wilkins," said Arkyn nodding to the two men standing at the entry and then leading him to the garden.

"That's our gardener Raul and those two are our housekeeping staff Giana and Klaus," said Arkyn nodding to a dark-skinned girl with curly locks and a fair man with a balding head.

There were other staff members too like Elvis, the driver and Yati, the assistant cook and he met them too.

By the time they finished seeing around the house, two hours had passed.

"I should leave now. I am to accompany my brother for a meeting in the evening," said Isak.

"Let me not keep you and think about what I said," said the man and waved as Isak left. Hell, that man was playing ping pong with his heart.

He didn't expect the call in the evening.

"I just called in to check on you," said Arkyn. Isak was truly blown away.

"I was thinking about what you said," said Isak, wanting to talk about it before he lost courage.

"And?"

"And, yes," said Isak.

"Wow"

"Yeah, Wow"

"Well, I am speechless"

"Well, you better treat me well," said Isak and the man laughed.

"Never doubt that. I will take good care of you," said the man and there was something deep and promising about it. He just couldn't place it.

Isak got into his car which was brought to the front yard. He looked at Arkyn who bent down and met his eyes through the window.
