Isak : Dreams of a Fallen Flower

Isak feels like he has pushed too much too soon. Therefore he is relieved when his children forget the plan for sleepover.  After they were put to bed, he looked at Arkyn.

"I will sleep in my room. Too much too soon is not right," said Isak. Arkyn nodded.

"We pushed too far today," he agreed.

"I am just desperate for everything to be right," said Isak. They looked at each other. Isak nodded and left before he cling to the man unhealthily.

Sleep was a long time coming that night but he recieved a call from Esben at night.

"Did you all hear back from Magnor?" asked Isak fondly.

"Yes. He said yes. I need you. You know me, I will probably come on too strong and drive him away," said Esben.

"If he thinks you are too much, he doesn't deserve you. Go out on a date first. Court a little and make him work for it," said Isak.

"That's sound advice. How are things there?"

"I slept with him and I am afraid I am rushing," said Isak.

"Don't let the notions of society lead your pace. Your pace is yours. While I agree you shouldn't rush, don't feel bad for needing him. He is your alpha who you have been away from for five years," said Esben.

"Oh darling, you don't know how much I needed to hear that," said Isak. They spoke for a while before Esben fell asleep talking.

In the morning, he woke his children first. He went in to check on Arkyn. The man was lying awake. Isak sat next to him.

"Getting up now?"

"Don't feel like it yet. I- I am so sorry Isa for everything I put you through," said Arkyn.

"I will tell you when I can wholeheartedly accept the apology. Now get up, maybe before you have bedroom invaders," said  Isak placing his hand atop Arkyn's.

"I wish I had your strength," said Arkyn sitting up.

"You are strong, alpha. Now take your time coming out. I will keep them from attacking," said Isak and got up, feeling surer of  himself.

Arkyn racked his brain wondering what he can do from his part to take steps towards recovery as a couple. He will think of something. He will have to. He could hear his children before he saw them and all four were flopped on the sofa, talking to Isak in loud voice. It was a sight to behold and it felt so domestic.

"I made breakfast today. You will have to do with this," smirked Isak as he kept a plate for him. The children were eating casually on the sofa. He sat with his children after taking the plate from Isak with a thank you.

"Feed me Baba," pouted Aros settling on his lap. The other four looked at him and came forward surrounding him, making eyes he doesn't stand a chance against. So he sat feeding them and Isak joined him, helping.

Once they were done, Isak smiled and encouragingly nodded to the children who screeched and went out to play.

"Will you- can we have a date in our garden?" asked Arkyn. Isak flushed but nodded.

Esben honest to god blushed the next time he saw Magnor which was in the morning. But he gathered himself. The man gave him a look.

"Chief, come here," said Esben. The guards around them were carefully looking away to not end up laughing.

"Is this some sort of kink you have?" asked Magnor and now the guards did chortle. Esben glared them all away and looked at Magnor.
