"I could really do with a drink right now" Koko said as he and Inui walked side by side down the street. The moon was high and the streets were quiet with the only other sounds being their footsteps and the occasional engine of a passing car.
"And? I'm not getting a drink for you" Inui had his hands in the pockets of his white jacket that had 'B D' and a dragon embroidered on the back.
"No. I'm saying we should stop at a convenience store," Koko and Inui took a right and around the corner, a store with bright lights came into view "I have more money on me than you do anyways."
Inui didn't reply he just followed his dark haired friend into the convenience store as the automatic door shut behind them. The two boys looked at the small selection of drinks while Koko tried to decide on one.
"Can you buy me a drink?" Inui said and grabbed a bottle of 7up.
"Huh, why?" Koko raised his eyebrows and turned to face his friend.
"Before you said you have more money on you than I do, I actually have no money right now" he shoved his drink into Koko's arms and walked towards the till.
"You better pay me back Inupi!"
"Mhm"
"There'll be interest too. For every day you don't pay me back I'll add 100¥"
"Fine"
A beep sounded as the girl behind the counter scanned the drinks "your total comes to 200¥."
Koko and Inui walked in silence for a moment until Inui broke it "that girl behind the counter," Inui began "she seemed familiar. Did you recognise her?"
Koko furrowed his eyebrows "huh? No, I didn't even look at her face"
