The (h/c) haired girl sat in a hospital with an old man in front of her as he wrapped bandages around her hand and fingers.
"So," he began "are you going to tell me how you broke the bones in your hand and fingers?"
She couldn't just casually tell him 'oh some creepy man was taking pictures of me so I broke his phone by punching the ground and at the same time broke all the bones in my hand, oh and I beat the shit out of him!'
So instead she said "I fell". A clique excuse yes but she hoped it would do the job.
"That doesn't sound like the truth" it didn't do the job.
"It's true! See ask- umm" she spun around to see Kokonoi who was stood leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. He had taken her to the hospital after the incident but now she realised that she didn't even know his name.
"Kokonoi," he stepped forward so he was just behind (y/n) "and yes she fell, because she's a dumb ass"
"Hey! That was uncalled for" she jokingly punched him with her not broken hand which he just swatted away with an annoyed expression.
"Well I wouldn't have to be here if you weren't such an idiot" he rolled his eyes.
"Awe don't act so cold Kokonoi~ I said I was going to the hospital and you insisted on bringing me" she smirked at him while the doctor finished up with the (h/c) haired girls cast.
"You're all done, you should come back next week for a check up to make sure everything is healing well, it should take around ten weeks to fully heal" the doctor explained.
"Right!" She smiled at Kokonoi who just sighed in return.
They both left the hospital after being in there for a few hours while the doctor ran tests and fixed her up. Now it was well into the night and the sun would come up in only a few hours.
"Since I already took you to the hospital I might as well walk you home" Kokonoi had both his hands in his pockets as he looked straight ahead.
"Oh Kokonoi~ you're so kind," (y/n) teased "I didn't realise you would be such a softie"
"Well I didn't realise you'd be such a moron (l/n)"
Her sudden gasp caught him off guard "how do you know my name? Are you some kind of psychic?" She raised both hands in a defensive stance before realising that it hurt and dropping them both back to her sides.
"No," he stated bluntly "you told your name to the woman at the register." Her mouth made an 'o' shape and she turned a corner to which Kokonoi followed her.
