The beginning of the fog

Chapter 2, Wills untill the end

Terry:"..You expect to find a cure?"

Julian:"Well..I'm aware this isn't a videogame?"

Terry sighs and just smiles

Terry:"Seems like you to think of something so silly,I'm in"

Terry and Julian smile and both agree they should go to a mechanic's shop to go get a car so the boy's doing what they do best, they wonder through the town searching for a Mechanic's shop untill they realized google maps was a thing since they still had connection they searched for the nearest Mechanic's shop

Several minutes later

The boy's have finally made it to the mechanics shop and go through the front door looking around expecting anything

Julian:"Yo Terry, through the door behind the counter, should be the garage to the car's"

Sure enough they go behind the counter and through the door and they we're in the garage in there being a lone mini van

Terry:"How did you know that door would lead to the garage?"

Julian:"1. It's common knowledge and 2. My cousin use to work as a mechanic"

Terry sweat dropped at Julian's smart ass response while Julian smirked, Julian then pointed at a room that looks like a box in the garage

Julian:"in there should be the key's to the van"

Terry nods and they approach the door to the room

(Terry's POV)

I approach the door with Julian and just as I was about to open the door with the handle Julian grabs my wrist

Terry:"he-"

But just when I speak he covers my mouth and whispers

Julian(Whispering):"listen closely"

I do what Julian says, and sure enough I hear a faint..Weeping? I look towards Julian and he looks back with a serious face so we both pull out our knives and I slowly open the door while I can see Julian places his hand on his gun on his waist ready to pull it out, the door opens and we can see a man or thing? I don't know which just sitting in the corner crying so I call out to him

Terry:"Hello..?"

Quickly the man looks at us at first frightened but then slowly relieved

???:"Your not infected..Right?"

Julian:"No, I don't think so atle-"

Before Julian can finish I slap him from behind his head and I answer for him as Julian holds the back of his head

Terry:"No sir we are not infected, we are looking for a way for transportation"

I glare at Julian for that last part considering we could have probably been shot or something for him saying that but suddenly the man laughs a little so me and Julian look at him confused

???:"Guess there is still some fun in the end of the world..Yeah I'm the owner of the minivan in the garage and I'll give it to you free of charge it's best you youngsters survive"

Me and Julian look at him shocked and confused

Julian:"there has to be a catch right?"

???:"Nope."

Terry:"Well alright then"

The man gives Julian the key's with Julian saying thank you, then we both are starting to walk out the room until the man spots Julian's gun

???:"Hey.."

Me and Julian look at him confused as to what more could he want

???:"Can I..Borrow that gun? Only for a second you two can wait outside the door...."

Julian being suspicious almost doesn't hand him the gun untill I realize what the man is going to do

Terry:"Julian, Give me the gun instead I'll stay here with him, just wait outside for a couple minutes yeah?"

Julian trusting me more then some random man, gives me the gun and walks outside the door and closes it so I look at the man

Terry:"You we're going to end it all weren't you?"

The man says nothing but nods with sadness in his eyes slightly looking down

Terry:"I'll do it for you..That way you'll go to heaven"

The man smiles and nods

???:"Thank you.."

I nod with the man looking down as I aim down the gun to the man's head I squeeze the trigger.

(Julian's POV)
A couple seconds before

Julian:"What's taking him so long? It shouldn't take this long for him and a m-"

All of a sudden a gunshot rings out from the booth so immediately I run over to the booth and forcefully open the door finding Terry making his way out

Terry:"Here's your gun"

Terry hands me back my M9 as he exits I'm confused, I look in the booth seeing the man dead shot by Terry, I finally realize what the man wanted so I let out a single

Julian:"Oh.."

I walk out the booth and close the door heading to the minivan with Terry waiting

Terry:"So who's driving..?"

Julian:"I will, no worries"

I pull out the car key's and unlock the doors to the car while Terry hops in the passenger seat, instead of going in the car I go to a remote control and press a green button which opens the garage door and I go to the car, in the driver seat and wait however since the garage door is huge it's slow and l o u d so with that knowledge the things are starting to come to the mechanic shop

Terry:"Oh shit"

Julian:"Don't worry, I have a plan we will make it"

Terry putting trust in me nods as I give him my gun

Julian:"When that door opens enough to get the car out, we floor it and if any hang on too the car you shoot them"

Terry nods to the simple plan and sure enough the door opened enough for the car and the things as they start getting into the small garage

Terry:"FLOOR IT."

True to my word I hit the gas and drive out of the parking lot of the shop fast, a few held onto the car but Terry quickly shot them off as fast as they came, plus he shot some that was following us using the whole mag, giving me back my M9

Julian:"See we made it?"

Terry:"you just winged it didn't you?"
