Once again I woke up here on earth, reminding myself that I had to go to a human school. This is so fun... Anyways, when I stood up and gift bag was upon the bookshelf and it had a huge name tag that said "Stefan". I gather that this is from Ann and inside there was a note that said the following.

"Maybe we can't fill the hole that the past gave you as it flew away. Maybe that will want to haunt you for the rest of your days if you let it. I've seen in you great beauty and even though it's fast, you're part of the family now and I believe there's no other way to do this. I know it's all of a sudden, but Emmanuel and I decided that you will be part of the family. We're adopting you..."

The note captivated my soul and got it between her loving words. Humans adopted me in such short notice, ignoring that I was a stranger, their hearts were full of love. That exhilarated my day completely and I kept searching on the gift bag. There were a lot of pairs of shirts, t-shirts, vests, pants and every kind of wearing things. I loved everything that they gave me... This is just amazing. I took a shirt and went downstairs. I found Fred already awake and eating his breakfast. This is new. I went to Ann and gave her a hug, my truest hug.
"Thank you." I said trying so hard not to cry. She hug me hard and kissed my forehead.
"I hope you feel more than comfortable with us." She said. Emmanuel appeared in the kitchen, and so, I gave him another hug. He was surprised by it and he didn't gave me the hug quickly. He, after a few seconds, gave a hug. Fred was still amused, because he didn't knew, I guess, the thing about adoption. Ann sat close to Fred and so did Emmanuel.
"We have some great news Fred!" Ann said excited.
"What? Are you sending Stefan to a foster home?" Fred said looking at his cereal.
"No." Ann said warningly, giving him the same ferocious look that I was afraid of. Ann continued talking, though Emmanuel was right beside Fred giving him a motivated smile.
"You're going to have a brother! The one you always wanted." Ann said waiting for Fred's reaction.
"Are you pregnant!" Fred's affinity changed in an instant, looking very excited for the news.
"Heck no! You silly boy." Ann said.
"Then what?" Fred asked curiously, though with a tone of suspiciousness.
"Your Father and I decided to adopt Stefan, he's going to be your brother." Ann said.
"Are you insane mother! He's been here for like two or three days!" Fred said angrily. I believe this is going to get out of control. In one... Two... Three.
"Hold your horses Fred! I know it's fast, but I believe that's the right thing to do." Ann said.
"And when did you made me part of this life changing decision!" Fred exclaimed.
"You're not an adult to decide what is better." Emmanuel said, taking control of Fred's attitude. Fred looked at his father angrily and Emmanuel looked like he could punch him right in the face.
"I can't find the goodness in these news." Fred said, taking his backpack and walking out of the house, to the car.
Both, Ann and Emmanuel looked at me, they looked sad but I gave them a weak smile.
"Don't worry Ann, I'm ok. I'll try to win his confidence." I said confidently.
"That's good to hear son." Emmanuel said with a brief smile on his face.
"I know you will." Ann affirmed. Ann and I walked to the car and Fred was already there in deep silence.

Ann left us at school and like yesterday, Fred went with his group of friends leaving me alone. I walked to my classroom, as I memorized the whole hallways by now and I arrived early. Miss Johnson was sitting on her desk chair and everyone was ready for today's lesson. Miss Johnson stood up and started giving the class. She talked about books, poetry and the pristine writers that created great pieces of literature.
"Fred, what do you think about books? Poetry?" Miss Johnson asked. Fred hesitated and I knew that he would say something very poetic, because he loves reading and all of the sort. I listened carefully.
"I don't like books at all that's what I can say." Fred said disrespectfully. Miss Johnson looked at him madly, though, she didn't did nothing to him. I see what's going on in here. Fred is afraid to show himself in front of his friends. That's why he wants to look all macho and husky in front of everyone.
"Very well, in the last thirty minutes you have to create a poem. I won't accept poems that already exist and you will read it in front of the class." She said and sat subtly on her chair. Everyone was perplexed and including Fred, who looked outraged by this. I kept at the piece of paper that I had in hand, and I started to think about what could I possibly write. My thoughts and memories were all surrounded by my ancient status. All I could possibly think of was what I had up there. I kept thinking the words I was going to use, trying to put in the piece of paper everything I had in mind involving Eye-Lock. Everyone was focused in their works and the teacher like an eagle, analyzing her students, if they were working or losing their time miserably. The timed passed and I already finished my poem. Miss Johnson stood up once again and went to the corner of the classroom, so the voice of everyone could be audible to her.
"Stefan, you first please. Go on." She said. Why do I always have to go first? In Earth and in Eye-Lock is always the same thing. I stood up slowly and walked to the front of the class and this was my poem.
