Eye-Lock and the Mystery of the Stars

Chapter Two

When we ended eating, we decided to go home walking. I was still very anxious for tomorrow, but Yormando kept my mind busy.
"Next time you'll pay for your food." I said. He ate nearly all the pizza leaving me only one slice. I can't live with that.
"Then I won't come next time." Yormando said looking directly at Jess's house.
"You have a thing with her don't you?" I said looking at Yormando. I've never seen Yormando so distracted by a girl.
"Maybe. Maybe not." Yormando said quickly, looking at the front.
"Ok. Ok. If you don't want to tell I'm completely ok with it." I said. I was not ok with it.
"Alright." Yormando said trying to evade the subject.
I looked at him while we walked. By the look at his face I knew he had something in mind.
I looked at my necklace trying to put it on a way that couldn't bother me. Sometimes it gets me itchy.
"Have you discovered anything from your star necklace." Yormando asked seriously.
"Why that question? You know I don't like to talk about this. This is rubbish." I said and I was telling the truth. I didn't like the thought of taking off my necklace and disappear to Earth. Now that's awful.
"Well, I want to talk about that so suck it up." Yormando said gruffly.
"Really Yormando? I don't-
"Shut it. Speak to me. Have you?" He repeated the question.
I looked at him madly. Talking about my necklace was something I didn't even like to talk with mom and dad. I always tried to avoid the topic at all cost.
He moved his hands, so he could provoke me and let the information out.
"Alright!" I yelled.
"I didn't like the message. It's a bit confusing, even I couldn't understand it completely. But I just hope that this be something inoffensive." I continued. I showed him my star and he glanced at it curiously. In my star this was written.

"I can assure that you're not happy. 'Cause I can travel through your mind and your soul. First of all you'll be looking desperately for someone who can help you, because you don't have nobody than your family. Dead and pity will be your friends for a long time. And killing would look like an option in the future. You're not safe. Nowhere. I'll teach you a lot of things through your journey and I will give you the victory. But if you want that victory you'll need to surpass the challenge of your life. This will be the journey that will define your life..."

When I finished reading the message, Yormando changed his affinity. He looked like he was scared, but I doubt it. He looked at me and gave one of those looks like "You're so messed up.". I knew I wasn't but one of the most scary things about this message or even prophecy is that killing will be an option. I hope not. In the other hand it told me too that I've no one, just my family. Something that scared me even more.
"That's deep." Yormando said putting his right hand on his forehead.
I nodded 'cause every time I read this I get gloomy and thoughtful.
"You know I'm always here for you." He said putting his hand in my shoulder.
"I know." I said lowly.
"What about you? Have you discover something?" I continued. I didn't want to be the center of attention.
"Do you really want to know?" Yormando said suspiciously.
"Positive." I said.
"My necklace says that I'm gonna be someone important all over Eye-Lock. Also that I'm going to be the start or maybe the end of an era. It's getting closer as the time passes" Yormando said.
I stared at him. That thing sounded better than mine.
"On Yolember, when it was my birthday was the start of it. I mean that thing showed up." He continued.
"I regret this topic, would you please change it." Yormando yelled.
"Alright. So, Who you're taking to the dance tomorrow?" I said quickly. That was the only thing I had in mind
"That's worse. Gosh!" Yormando yelled.
"No! You don't say. You have a date!" I said quickly. When Yormando tried to avoid a topic it's because he has something on mind or he was up to something. Are those the same thing?
"Ugh! Just take your nose out of it. I don't need everyone to know." Yormando said madly.
"Alright. Anyways everyone will attempt to the dance and all of them will know." I said
"Who is it then?" I asked curiously.
"Jess." Yormando said lowly.

"I knew it. I knew you had something in mind!" I yelled.
He didn't say anything. I thought he was mad.
"What about you?" He asked.
"Well, Melissa agreed to go with me!" I yelled.
"OMG! Dude really, she's beautiful." Yormando said surprised.
"Just like me!" I said joking.
"Well you're a handsome dude, I'm saying it just like friends." Yormando snapped.
"I know. Hey, I have to go. See you tomorrow." I said starting to run.
