Ann left us at school and Fred took off quickly to the rendezvous where his friends always arrived.  I knew that this day was going to be very weird, since Fred was going to be ignoring me all day, and not just that, but his friends would also take his side as usual.  Sidekicks are just a synonym of idiotic lost persons.  I sat on the stairs towards the school, waiting for the ring to, well obviously to ring, but I was also checking my backpack for things I had to do and I actually forgot.  That party almost destroyed every sane neurons that I had in my brain.  Although, I couldn't stop myself from eavesdropping and taking my eyes out of the idiotic gang reunion (that's how I should call it) of my sarcastic human brother.  Their laughter was just like an electric saw, creaking and screeching through the whole front of the school, giving themselves fist bumps and weird synchronized handshakes.  Perhaps they were really close as a mischievous gang of control, or maybe they were just best friends that liked trouble, but as well as I was watching that stupid moment of guys, Ronan was slowly walking towards them, looking very shy at the moment, but with a pile of papers on his left hand.  I didn't wanted to eavesdrop you know, but I felt like something wrong was going to happen to him, because I just felt it.  I got a little bit more close, and I started reading the thoughts of the fellow gangsters.  Felix thoughts were repulsive and offensive "here we go again, can't this freaking nerd understand that we just want our homework done."  Declan repeated in his head "homework done, homework done!  This is just great."  Fred's thoughts were just sealed somehow, and that started to confuse me, because I was able to read his thoughts before, but now is like his thoughts were shut down or even protected by an antivirus that detects intruders.  Lastly, I read Ronan's thoughts, which were full of hope, trying to look for approbation from the gang.  "I hope I can get friends, I'm tired of being alone."  Ronan's final approach made Fred talk.
"What do we have in here, dear friend?"  Fred asked mischievously, looking at the stack of paper on his hand.
"This are your English essays due tomorrow."  Ronan smiled weakly as he gave one essay to each.  The three of them glanced the paper and saved them in their backpacks.  The three of them walked away, leaving Ronan behind, but Ronan made them stop.
"Can I hang with you guys?  I mean..."  Ronan was interrupted.
"What made you think you could do that?"  Fred said, and I felt that the anger he had with me, he was taking it on the pure Ronan that was in desperate need for a shoulder of trust.
"Well I-"
"It wasn't a question.  You're not part of us.  You're a nerd, go and look for a friend inside those weird books you read."  Fred sneered.  Declan and Felix laughed.
"Stinking nerd."  Felix said and that was the last word of the gang, as they walked away to go into the school.  Ronan sat on one of the school benches, and he put his backpack beside him and there he stayed, with his hands on his face, crying with hopelessness.  I walked towards him and sat carefully and so, he didn't even felt I was right at his side.
"You know, I would've actually kick their butts, but I'm a pacifist, like Ghandi right?"  I said to him, trying to make him smile.  He felt startled, and was scared for a second as he didn't eve knew I was there.
"Ghandi?  I surely don't feel like a pacifist right now.  Do you know Hitler?"  Ronan replied.
"I sure do.  What about him?"  I asked.
"I'm trying very hard to not be like him right now and unleash the destructive feeling I have."  Ronan said with tears rolling down his cheeks, though, a smile spread wide on his face.  We both laughed at the though of Hitler.
"Well, you can surely be Der Führer you know.  Heil Ronan!"  I sneered.
"How dare you speak to the pure german race!  Off with your head!"  Ronan sneered, laughing happily.  Then the bell rang loudly, and both of us walked to our first class very slowly, because we were enjoying our little jokes of Hitler, Osama bin Laden, Fidel Castro and all of those evil leaders of the world that wanted to take over Ronan.
"You know Ronan, you don't have to prove yourself with those idiots!"  I said very loudly without knowing the volume that my voice had acquired.  Human influence is everywhere.
"Why not?  I mean, I feel alone."  He replied.
"I believe you forgot.  Ronan, I can be your friend and you could always count on me."  I said giving him a fist bump on his shoulder and he smiled.
"I completely forgot about that...  Thanks Stefan, I really enjoy our conversations."  He said.
"At the party, you made a friend, and that friend isn't going to some other place you know."  I said giving him my hand so we could create a brotherhood, a pact of truth that could make us more united.
"Friends?"  I asked.
"Friends."  Ronan gave me his hand.
