Chapter 6

The next day was Friday, which is the day I have Mandarin class schedule after school. I haven't told Takeomi, of course, because I immediately went to sleep after cleaning my study desk yesterday.

a lil flashback

My low blood pressure starts kicking in again. It seems that I've reached my limit.

Yes, my sleeping schedule had gotten worse due to some school work which got harder and harder day by day, so I had to keep myself stable as a top student.

After I finished cleaning my study desk, my vision suddenly went blurry and my head feels heavy.

I balanced myself by holding the edge of my desk and holding my forehead.

It happened again...

Still, I have a lot of things to do.

But then I remembered Kakucho's words.

Should I rest for the day now...?

After what it feels like hours, I chose to sleep and rest for the day.

...since tomorrow I have some after school shit to do.

"Oh? Mandarin class?" Takeomi asked. I nodded.

We just finished breakfast together and he asked in front of the door before I left to go to school.

"I mean, it's up to you if you still wanted to pick me, though, since I don't wanna disturb your work. But if you do, I finish at 4 PM," I explained. After that I bowed and went to the elevator.

Takeomi and the others except Mikey and Kakucho just looked at my figure entering the elevator.

"Sanzu," Takeomi called.

"Hm?"

"The fuck is Mandarin?"

The final period ended faster than before, since I already finished the assignment given and the whole period is just for the students who haven't done the assignment, so the rest can go home.

I went to the other school building for my after school class. As I was checking my things while walking, I immediately stopped when my hand touched a small object in my bag.

Ahh, it's the earrings from yesterday.

Still, I don't think I'll get in trouble after this, but at the same time I can't predict my safety.

...

...

You know what, fine. I'll wear it.

I went to the toilet and put the earrings on. Good thing there's no one there so I don't have to worry about girls asking these earrings.

Finally, Mandarin class is over. I went outside, hoping that there are no delinquents outside.

When I made it to the school gate, I looked over to my right and left.

It's safe, phew.

"What are you looking for?" a voice asked. I jumped.

It's freaking Takeomi.

Please just don't scare me for once...

"I-it's nothing...."

"I have nothing else to do since Mikey doesn't have any work for me, so I came," he explained. I nodded and followed him to Bonten.

"Also, there are some people once we arrived, and we won't be able to go upstairs if their business with Bonten hasn't over yet, so hope you don't mind."

Don't mind you say...

I have shit homework to do.

I sighed and gave up on that.

Once we arrived, Takeomi is right.

There are people talking with Mikey and Koko. It seems like they're trying to work together with Bonten, I think.

"Oh, Ren-chan!" Sanzu called, waving a hand at me.

Oh fuck.

"Stfu Sanzu, they're still talking there," Rindou sighed, facepalming.

I sat down with them while waiting for Mikey and Koko to finish their conversation with the people. I sat next to Kakucho, of course.

And Sanzu is just across the table giving puppy eyes at me.

Sometimes I wonder why Bonten wanted Sanzu here...

After a good 10 minutes, Mikey and Koko joined us. The rest of the Bonten members stood up, which, I too stand up because I don't wanna feel left out hehe.

"How is it?" Kakucho asked.

"We agreed to them since they gave us a great deal," Mikey explained. Koko is just standing there looking at the papers the people gave him, while the Haitanis are behind him looking at the papers too.

I stood beside Ran since he told me too because he wanted to pat my head. I don't know why so sudden, though. I just blushed slightly.

But then, I froze when I overheard the people from before.

They're speaking in... Mandarin?

What are they planning though...

"Eh..."

I pulled Ran's jacket to gain his attention. He seems to know that I wanted to whisper to him.

I immediately translated what the people were saying.

"'This is a big deal for our organization...'"

His eyes widened. He looked at my face which I was looking at the people.

Ahh, I see... he thought. He then called Koko and Rindou to hear my translation.

"'They're just a stupid ass organization, a serious murderer from the outside, but too naive on the inside...'"

"'If we kept doing this, then we might as well bring down their whole power...'"

"'In other words, our organization will be above Bonten forever...'"

Koko smirked. "Ohoho, interesting knowledge you have there, Ren-chan."

I looked at him confused.

Rindou went to the others to explain my translations. Once he told Mikey, he went to me to give me a head pat.

"Well then, how can we punish these shits...."

I am very sorry because this chapter took so long to publish, due to some school work and I've been having mental problems which now I feel a bit better :)

I also apologize if this chapter is not as long as the other chapters because I don't know what else to write here to make the plot kinda like a cliffhanger HEHEHEHE

Before I end this author note, I just wanted to say that I may be updating Chapter 7 in about 1-2 weeks again, because it's about my final exams and my grades are shit :)
