Around The Mountain

Chapter 1~

This is a continuation of where we left off on Jadestar's Story

I look around camp and stand up lazily. My apprentice, Sunpaw, was already up and eating a mouse.

"Sunpaw, want to go exploring around the territory again?" I ask walking over to him. He looks at me with bright eyes and nods excitedly.

"Yeah of course!" Sunpaw smiles and runs out of camp. I smile slightly at the apprentices enthusiasm and follow him out of camp. He leads me to the Stoneclan border and I sighed not wanting to be there. But if my apprentice was curious about something, I had to teach him. That's what mentors do.

"Jadecloud!" Sunpaw said "Tell me more about Stoneclan" he said sitting by the border.

I tilted my head "why are you curious about it?"

"Because you always seem different around the border. And you seem to know a lot about it. More than the thee two clans" Sunpaw said looking over the border.

I nod slightly "Oh okay. Well there is not much to tell. As I said, we have a strong alliance with Stoneclan. And we get along better than the other clans. And it's always good to have alliances with strong clans" I said and look over at my apprentice, who was listening and nodding. I didn't want to talk more about my fathers clan do I had to get him back to camp.

"hey Sunpaw, why don't you catch a mouse and bring it back to the elders. You know how to catch mice right" I smile "or do I need to keep pestering you?"

Sunpaw laughed "I'll go catch the mice!" He said smiling and ran off. I sighed relieved and turned back to look at the border.

"Maybe...." I said and stepped across the border. I walked into Stoneclan and look around.
