Xin Lisa said, “The person who gave you the book is also the person who wrote the book.”

Jaehyun was silent for a moment. He asked, “You know each other?”

Xin Lisa shook her head at first, but then she nodded.

“So, was the Xin Lisa in the book based on you?” Chen Junxing asked.

Xin Lisa smiled bitterly. “She hated me so much that she wrote me into the book as well. But she loved you, and it was because of that love for you that Jeon Jungkook was born.”

“That…Jeon Jungkook …Did he really exist?”

“He’s always been there.”

Jaehyun looked at her. “So, what do you plan to do after seeing this book?”

“I want to go back to him.”

“I knew it was the world inside of the book. I’ve known from the very start. But I’m still so in love with Jungkook. I love him, and we have a child together that I’d only been able to see once in my life. I have to go back since both he and my child are waiting for me.”
