Weng Jennie saw him cry so hard that his eyes were red and even his nose had turned red as well, and she quickly asked Jeon Taehyung to call the two to hurry home.

Xin Lisa was busy recording the program so she didn’t even realize her phone rang many times.

Jungkook was currently talking about the most important points with his partners and when he saw the caller ID for the old home, the first thing he thought was that it must be related to Jeonsan. Sure enough, he heard his son’s earth-shattering cries as soon as the call connected.

After listening to Jeon Taehyung’s explanation, Jungkook quickly hung up and told his partners that he had to go home first. Then, he quickly left, leaving Assistant Wang to clean up the mess.

On the way home, Jungkook called Xin Lisa many times but she never picked up. So, frowning, he rushed back home. As soon as he arrived, he saw the three elders surrounding Jeonsan, trying their best to coax the baby. Even Aunt Song was breaking up a sweat from trying to tease him.

But Jeonsan still wasn’t having any of it and wailed as loud as he could.

Jungkook frowned. He quickly took off his suit jacket that smelled of alcohol and tobacco and quickly went over to hold him.

After picking him up, Jungkook began coaxing him, and the baby’s cries gradually went down.

Seeing him sobbing with tears all over his face, Jungkook quickly told Weng Jennie to get a tissue to help wipe his face.

While going as light as possible, Weng Yinlin said, “This child, you really scared all of us!” Then, when she saw Jeonsan blinking his pitiful eyes, she felt her heart ache and didn’t dare to say anymore. Instead, she turned to talk about her son instead. “What’s with you anyway? YOu have managers and executives all over your company! What sort of dinner was so important that you had to go yourself?! Next time just hurry home after work! If my grandson cries like this anymore, what am I going to do if he can’t breathe!”

Well, she’s right. Jeonsan practically never took any breaks when he begins crying.

And this was the reason why the elders had to summon them back in a hurry.

Hearing that, Jungkook looked speechlessly at the one in his arms and said, “Got it, Mom.”

After the show, Xin Lisa was just about to change when she heard someone call out to her. “Host Xin, your phone rang a lot of times earlier. Was there an emergency?”

Xin Lisa thanked them and took her phone. As soon as she saw the name, she felt a sense of urgency and immediately called Jungkook back. “Did something happen at home?”

“Yeah, but it’s fine now. Are you off work?”

Xin Lisa quickly asked, “Did something happen to Sannie?”

Jungkook turned around to look at the little guy who was sleeping happily in bed and responded, “Not anymore. He just cried really hard when we weren’t around, but he’s asleep now.”

Xin Lisa’s heart clenched when she heard his words, but she breathed a sigh of relief when she heard that he fell asleep. “That’s good.”

Jungkook asked. “Are you done with work?”

“Yeah, the recording’s done. I’m just about to head home.”

“Wait for me after you pack up. I’ll come pick you up.”

Xin Lisa said, “No need, I drove here this morning.”

“It’s already dark, I’m worried.”

When she heard him say this, Xin Lisa’s heart felt warm. Smiling, she said, “Alright! I’ll be troubling you then, President Jeon!”

Jungkook also had a smile on his face. “Anything for my wife.”
