From Now On You're Just A Deku...

(4 Year Old Izuku POV)

Me and my mom have been feeling really down ever since dad left. We've been more quiet and haven't talked much. I was really missing dad. I was playing with my All Might figurines in the living room when we heard the sound of our doorbell ringing. 

"I'll get it" Said Inko rushing to the door.

She opened the door only to be faced with Katsuki Bakugo, or in other words "Kacchan". It's a childhood nickname I gave him. 

"Oh, hello Katsuki! What brings you here?" Asked Inko

"Can Izuku come out to play?" Asked Kacchan.

"Izuku, Katsuki is here!" Inko yelled across the room grabbing my attention. 

I ran to the front door to see Kacchan. 

"Hi Kacchan!" I said happily.

"Hey Izuku" He said.

"Do you wanna go out and play with Katsuki?" Asked Inko.

I nodded my head really fast happily.

"Ok, just come back before it gets dark ok zuzu?" She said while moving her hand over my messy green hair.

"Ok mommy!" I said as I ran out with Kacchan.

Me and Kacchan ran to the park we usually play at.

"So" Kacchan said.

"Huh?" I said in confusion.

"What quirk did you get Izuku?" He asked.

"U-umm actually I-I'm-" I said but only to get inturrupted.

"Did you get your mom or dad's quirk? Your mom's quirk is awesome. But man, your dad's quirk is so cool. When we both become pro heroes, we can work together and be just like All Might!" He said putting his fist up in his air just like the way All Might does.

"K-kacchan i'm quirkless..." I said.

"W-what?" He said.

"K-kacchan I-I-I'm sorry..." I stuttered out.

"You're just a deku" He spat out.

"W-what h-huh?" I asked.

"FROM NOW ON YOU'LL JUST BE A USELESS QUIRKLESS DEKU" He yelled.

Hearing those words coming from my best friend made me heartbroken. I couldn't control it any longer, I started crying.

"K-kacchan..." I said.

"SEE NOW YOU'RE CRYING, THAT'S JUST SHOWING ME YOU'RE SO WEAK! WE AREN'T FRIENDS ANYMORE" He yelled as he walked away.

(Inko POV)

I was sitting on the couch thinking about Hisashi when I heard the doorbell ring. I walked to the door and opened it to find a crying Izuku at the doorsteps. I was surprised to see him home this early. He'd only been outside for about half-an-our. What really made me surprised were the tears streaming down his face. I picked him up and put him on the couch and wiped his tears.

"Izuku what happened?" I said worried.

"K-kacchan... h-he said we're not friends anymore a-and that i'm a deku" He said sniffling.

Even though he didn't tell me the story in full detail i understood what had happened. I felt really bad for my little Izuku and hugged him. He stayed in my arms crying and ended up crying himself to sleep. That was until we heard the doorbell ring again which caused Izuku to wake up.

"W-who's at the door mommy" Izuku said rubbing his eyes.

"I don't know Izuku, lets go check" I said while getting up.

Me and Izuku got up and walked to the door. I opened the door to find myself faced with someone I thought I would never see again. My heart stopped beating. I don't know how I should have felt. Happy? Scared? I was feeling both. Looking at Izuku he seemed to be feeling the same way I was just by looking at the expression on his face.

"Inko, I'm really sorry for what happened..." Said the figure standing at the door.
