Overhaul Part 1

(Izuku's POV)

Right now, I was in my nearly empty bedroom sitting criss-crossed on the floor with my laptop in my lap. 

I heard a knock at my door and immediately knew it was my mom. Or maybe mr.Flick- he dropped by here 3 times to help me with my "homework." I go over to his place too sometimes and mom doesn't mind. He actually came 7 times to our home- Mom invited him for tea and snacks and I didn't mind at all. It was actually the most fun I've had in a while!

And I think he may like my mom...

I mean- THAT  kind of like, and I'm not sure how i'm supposed to feel about that-

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It's me Izuku!" Inko said through the door.

"O-oh Come in!" I yelled.

Mom looked around my room and clutched one hand over her mouth. She looked like she was about to cry. 

"M-mom... what's wrong?" I asked, voice filled with worry.

She shook her head and gave a small smile. 

"It's nothing Izuku... can you clean your room please? Kisuke is coming. I invited him again" Inko said.

FIRST NAME?!

"Uhhh s-sure mom" I said itching my neck.

"I'm making cookies too! Do you want to join zuzu?" She asked. I jumped up, smiled and rapidly nodded. "I'll call you when I start" She smiled and walked out of the room.

I finished cleaning my room and went back to my laptop, re-opening the tabs I was previously on. It was the video recording of a meeting between pro heroes. I've watched it several times already but I felt the need to watch it more and more every time. They were making a plan to save Eri and capture Overhaul. I watched it seven times now and decided it was enough. I shut my laptop off when I heard my mom calling me to bake the cookies.

An hour later we heard a ring on the doorbell.

I ran and opened the door knowing who it was.

"Mr.Flick!" I smiled.

"I BROUGHT POUND CAKE PEOPLE!" He yelled while me and mom laughed.

"Come in please Kisuke!" Inko yelled from inside.

I stepped aside for him to come in and he smiled, taking his shoes off and sitting next to mom on the couch. I sat on the couch in front of the two and listened to their conversations joining in a bit. I heard the oven timer go off and quickly ran to the oven, and walked back with a tray filled with cookies. I places them in the plate set on the table and mr.Flick was basically drooling. I looked at mr.Flick's face and laughed. He looked hilarious.

"Did you make those?" He asked.

"Yeah! Me and mom made them" I said.

"No wonder they look so good" He laughed. I handed him one and thanked me before taking a bite out of it and melting into the couch while me and mom just laughed more. "Thank you. They taste so goood" He said as I smiled.

"Oh right! Take some pound cake" He said to me and mom gesturing towards it.

The three of us ate, and talked for about an hour before Mr.Flick had to leave. I ran back to my room and sat down pulling my laptop towards me. I looked through UA files and all their information, just checking for anything useful for the battle against overhaul. Who knew if they had information on the team that I didn't have. I clicked on the file name "Shie Hassaikai" and read through everything. All the information they had were things I already knew of. I guess I have everything I need to know for the fight tomorrow.

(The Next Day - Night)

It was 8:45 in the night and I was getting ready, putting on my vigilante suit. This was the time the pros said they'd attack. This was the time Overhaul would be defeated. This was the time Eri would be saved. I jumped out of my window and stood on a roof. The wind blew hard letting my hood run back and forth. I looked across to see some pro heroes jumping from roof to roof. I recognised them all but my eyes were laid on Eraserhead, Present Mic... and All Might.

...It's fine. I won't let him get in the way of the main mission: Saving Eri. Unknown to them, I trailed behind them, keeping a distance for them to not notice. 

We soon arrived at a large building, and the pros began discussing a plan for an ambush, as I continued listening from the side. They had the police team up with them too. The plan they had was better than I'd expected them to come up with. They might actually have a chance on winning this...

I heard I loud sound of crashing and looked to my side to see the pro hero Ryukyu in her dragon form crashing to the side. It looks like she got hit... but by who? I looked to the front entrance seeing a large man with a bird mask now laying on the ground unconscious. I recognised him as Rikiya Katsukame, a member of the Hassaikai. It looks like All Might was the one who defeated him. 

"Ryuku! Are you okay?!" Fat Gum yelled.

She began getting up "Yeah, he can't take me down that easily" She spoke with a small laugh.

The heroes and police officers began running into the building while I followed not too far away. I was surprised they hadn't noticed me yet. I stopped, remembering the real reason I was here.

I'm not here to defeat overhaul. The heroes can do that. I'm here to save Eri. 

Leaving the heroes I began to run the opposite way running to the doors we passed. I ran inside each room checking for Eri.

I opened the first door. 

She's not here.

Second one.

Not here either.

Third door.

I didn't see her in there.

I checked all the doors i've passed and didn't see her inside. I facepalmed realising my stupid mistake. Why would she be right in the entrance of the building? Of course they'd hide her. I'm so stupid.

I began running fast in the direction the heroes went. They were using night eye's foresight quirk to find overhaul. I finally caught up to the heroes, seeing they were fighting more villains. I stayed hidden watching all the villains being defeated easily. Though, what caught my attention was that there were unknown villains. Villains with a black mask with a white X on it. I recognised the Shie Hassaikai, of course but these villains were unknown to me. There were several of them. I slowly eyed there movements. They didn't seem to be using their quirks. They must want to keep them hidden...

Shaking my head, remembering my mission I slowly began sneaking past them. I had an uneasy feeling someone saw me.

I felt eyes on me. I slowly turned around and there I saw Nighteye staring right at me...

"Damnit..." I mumbled.

I began to sweat from under my costume. He was staring right at me.

The last thing I expected him to do was... to let me go.

He nodded at me. I was so confused.

"What..." I whispered to myself.

He gestured for me to go in the direction the heroes were trying to go. He's letting me in on the mission. Did he know why I was here? Maybe he was able to see with his foresight quirk. He began gesturing for me to go ahead.

I nodded at him and gave him a thumbs up before running off. However, I didn't know I was being followed...

By a hero...

By All Might...
