🌸 chapter 4 the beavers🌸

No one's pov:

After being 'psst' by a bird, (y/n) and the pervensie's went outside of mister tomnus house to investigate but the bird quickly flew away as they stepped outside the house.

After a second, they heard something moving behind the bushes just a couple of meters away from them and then within a seconds, it went from different directions. They became a little scared making Lucy grab Susan's arm and Susan hold tightly at Peter's shoulders, while (y/n) got on guard if something happened.

"It... It's a beaver" Peter muttered, they all sighed in relief as they saw a beaver showed up from the large stone.

'its soo cute!' (y/n) said in my head

The beaver then slowly walked towards them. "Here, boy" Peter said with his hand doing a weird gesture to let the beaver go near him. Just as his about to touch it's face, the beaver spoke " I ain't gonna smell it if that's what you want"

"Eeek- it c-can talk too" (y/n) said "your so cute"

"Thank you, your highness" (y/n) didn't mind what the beaver said because she's fangirling at the inside
while Susan and Edmond looked at the beaver wide eyed and Lucy chuckle's and Peter backed away "oh, sorry" Peter said

"Lucy Pervensie?" The beaver asked looking over to Lucy. She stepped forward "yes, that's me"

The beaver stretched his rather short arms to hand a white handkerchief to Lucy "this is the hankie I gave to mister tomn-" the beaver cut jer off.

"Tomnus, yes. He gave that me before they took him." The beaver said

"Is he alright? She asked

"Further in" the beaver replied before going away. (Y/n) looked at the Pervensie's "a-are w-we gonna follow him?" (Y/n) asked 'I don't feel any lies at him' she thought.

"I think so" Peter replied then started to follow the beaver "what are you doing!?" Susan said stopping them.

"How do we know we can trust him?" Edmond ask. "W-will I-I d-don't think his laying at us" (y/n) said while playing with her fingers.

"He said he knows the faun" Peter also answered "He's a beaver, it shouldn't been saying anything!" Susan replied

"Is everything ok?" The beaver asked
"yes, we we're just talking" Peter said
"It's better if we left with a safer quarters" the beaver said

"He means the trees" Lucy said "t-the tree's?" (Y/n) asked

"Yeah, mister tomnus said that some of the trees are on the Queen's side" Lucy answered

They followed the beaver while still scanning every path, trees and other things they walk pass.

They started their journey to the beaver's house, still being aware of anything that can spy on them.

They therefore all hurried along behind their new friend who lead them at a surprisingly quick pace, and always at the thickest part of the snow in the forest, for over an hour. Everyone except (y/n) are tired and very hungry when suddenly the trees began to get thinner in front of them and the ground to fall steeply downhill.

A minute later they came out under the open sky and found themselves looking down on a fine sight.

They we're standing on the edge of the steep, narrow valley at the bottom of which ran or at least it would have been running if it hadn't been frozen a fairly large river. Just below them, a dam had been built across the river.

And out in the middle, and partly of on top of the dam was a funny little house shaped rather like an enormous beehive and from a hole in the roof smoke was going up, so when (y/n) saw it (y/n) at once thought of cooking and became hungrier than you we're before.

That was what the others chiefly noticed, but Edmond notice something else. A little lower down the river there was another small river that came down another small valley to join it.

And looking up that valley, Edmond could see two more hills, (y/n) saw him.

"E-edmond" (y/n) nudged him
" w-what a-are you looking at?" She said "nothing!" And it's the most obvious lie (y/n) had seen. "I-if you say so"

But she glanced at it and activated her Byakugan quietly and sees an ice castle and she quickly deactivate it.

"Her we are" they heard mister beaver said "and it's looks like mrs beaver is expecting us, I'll lead the way but be careful and don't slip."

And when they reached the middle
They were at the door of the house.

"Here we are, mrs beaver, I've found them, here are the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve" said mr beaver and they all went in.

"I never imagined to meet you son of adam, daughters of eve" mrs beaver said while looking at them in awe

"I-I'm (y-y/n) n-nice to m-meet you mrs beaver"

"I'm Susan"

"I'm Lucy"

"And that's Edmond and the one outside is Peter" Susan said

"Help me prepare our meal, would you?" Mrs beaver said

"We would love to!" (Y/n) and Lucy said.
