"Haha! At least ASEAN wasn't there when you broke the coffee machine."
"I'm sorry, Indo did what?!"
"He was smashing the buttons the other day and now we can't have the 'warm water' heatness thing-"
"Hey! Didn't you tell me to grab a coffee that day, Phil?"
"Should've been more careful though, tsk tsk," Malaysia uttered, taking a sip from the juice he got from the table just a minute ago.
"Knowing you all for like a hundred years," the organization said, sitting on a chair near a fountain and leaning towards a wooden pole that steadies the ribbon decorations above carefully. "He's not going to do anything about it, watch."
Indonesia whined, "Isn't it that a machine-"
"-And do you even know how much that costs?" Phil added, fixing his black cap he was wearing. "The last time it was at the store is at...... Oh my god what currency do we have-"
"It's expensive," Mal said.
"Right! Also isn't that a gift or something from someone?" the Filipino asked genuinely.
"If it was a gift then I would know, since I usually leave the name tags (or the given to and from tags) on them if they had one, or just literally write them on a notebook," ASEAN shrugged. "I don't think anybody has given that-"
Malaysia suddenly interrupted, staring at the bi-colored country through their eyes, "See?"
ASEAN could hear a faint mutter from Phil at the side, saying along the lines of "Who leaves the name tags on the gifts given to you?" Indonesia crossed his arms, "It's just a coffee maker!"
"And she's just a friend!"
The four would turn to the voice that just spoke out of nowhere interrupting their conversation. It was Brunei, who was actually talking to Singapore at that time but decided to poke fun. Everyone in the square afterwards bursted into laughter.
Wheezing for a little, the organization asked.
"You had..?"
Despite the quite minimal amount of information with his question, everyone caught on what he was talking about.
The country shook his head, "What?! Tidak!"
"I smell lies," Mal said, while his voice was full of a 'sarcastic tease' moodset.
The organization then observed the three having a little conversation on their own. Leaving them be for a little, he scanned his eyes around the small park. The door opens to notice a familiar business outfit/uniform and quite a recognizable flag in his perspective. Blue with 12 yellow stars forming a circle towards the middle and that dangling star halo... It was the European Union, one of his closest organizational colleagues alongside the UN and SAARC.
He looked at the other for a little bit, hoping not to get a returning eye contact. He bit his lower lip, of course he had to go here? It's surprising how he was able to reach 5 hours away from EU's office and even to the fact everyone knows he has a busy schedule. ASEAN technically have those days, but he really isn't as busy as his European friend.
The two are also close off of work, really close. They were best friends despite how far apart they were, they were those friends that are opposites of each other but goes along well together. Their relationship wasn't really their top priority though, despite both of their assigned territories teasing them about how strong their ties are.
ASEAN shook his thoughts off and turned to the trio. He needed to go see him right now, probably the main reason why he was there in the first place was for him.
