"Nobodies saying our neighbourhoods the garden of Eden, hell, some people say god avoids this place altogether, but it's been good to me and my kids, who I'm proud of because every single one reminds me a little bit of me, Fiona my rock, huge he,l, has all the best qualities of her mother, except when she's a raging psycho bitch-blow,

Aurora, the golden girl, the one with the highest chance of getting out of this place, the smartest woman I've ever met. Lip, smart as a whip, straight A's and the honour roll boy, definitely going somewhere. Ian is industrious, conscientious, ambitious, incredible work ethic, don't know where he got that from, knows how to disassemble an enemy with a roll of dimes and an old gym sock.

Carl..... I don't know much about Carl, Oh! Loves animals always dragging home some poor stray he found taking them up to his room. Ah, Debbie, sent by God, total angel, raises money for UNICEF year-round, some of which she actually turns in.

Liam, gonna be a star, I'm no biologist but he looks a bit like my first sponsor, he and the ex were close. Kev, Veronica, fantastic neighbours there's nothing they won't do for each other or to each other, that didn't hurt half as much as I thought it would, I never realised how little sex I was having till V and Kev moved next door, and me and Frank Gallagher, father, mentor, Captain of our ship, we may not have much, but all of us know,

To a man knows the most important thing in his life is we know how to party."

AURORA WALKED UP the stairs picking up the dirty clothes and putting them down the laundry shoot, she opened the boys' doors before walking in "seven-fifteen," she said to them, walking in "first shower," Ian yelled running out the room to the bathroom, lip chased him hitting the door after Ian closed it  "shit!" He yelled. Aurora sat down on Carl's bed taking off his noise-cancelling headphones, she ran her fingers through his hair he slowly opened his eyes, "morning buddy," She said smiling at him, he yawned before looking at her "cereal or toast?" She asked getting up after a few moments "toast," Aurora hummed "get ready quickly," she said before walking out.

"Electric's due," Fiona said "I've only got ten bucks handy, I need four for Liam today," Aurora said before going through her purse which was on the side, "here," she said passing Lip six before feeding Liam "good boy," Aurora cooed at Liam kissing his head before moving to the toaster, "coming through," Ian said rushing in with Carl on his back, Aurora placed toast in front of Carl and made herself coffee. "Electric," Lip said handing it to Ian.

"I have a shift today at the cafe," Aurora said sipping her coffee turning to Fiona who looked up to her from the washing machine "I'm covering for Candi," Fiona said "I'll take Liam," Aurora said "we're running out of coffee, would you mind asking Sam if you can take some?" Fiona asked "she's gotten used to me taking some, I'm sure she won't mind," Aurora said moving to the table and sitting down with her cereal.

"No, Carl you've got a happy meal in that shirt," Aurora sighed getting up moving towards him "field trip, I need dads signature," Ian said passing Debbie the form "arms up," Aurora said grabbing the bottom of his t-shirt before pulling it off and flipping it inside out and putting it back on him. "Wow debs that's getting good," lip said, "who's got the phone." Fiona asked putting the clothes in the washing machine "I got it," lip said "any minutes left?" Fiona asked "uh, fourteen," he said throwing it to her.
