Chapter 15: Bet it all on something

The time has come. They were finally going to be done with The Dentist after this last job. They were about to hit the Golden Grin Casino. This job would be big for many reasons. First, the crew would be going to Vegas as opposed to DC or New York. Two they'd never hit a casino before so Bain wanted it done stealthily to minimize the risk, but Bain being Bain he always had a backup plan but for this job coming up with one was pretty hard. You the vault of the Golden Grin was nothing like they'd hit before. Bain knew that they would need a specialty drill to break into it, well not really a drill but a plasma arc cutter and he already knew Wolf had no idea what that was so he was at an impasse. However, there was a sliver of hope. Bain had his eye on a Russian hockey player by the name of Sergei Kozak. When Kozak wasn't beating the shit out of people on the rink he was taking scores. Bain had been following him for some time and knew he was a very good engineer so in an attempt to secure a plan B he reached out to him. He offered him a spot in the gang if he could draw him up a plan for a plasma arc cutter powerful enough to slice through the vault. A few weeks later Bain got the plans from him and looked them over to see if they looked good and it was better than he could imagine. He said he'd be in touch with him about the position then put together a crew to start building the thing. The construction took a month but once it was done he felt the crew was ready for the job so he assembled them.

"Ok, clowns it's time. In three days you'll be flying out to Vegas to hit the Golden grin. We're doing this quietly so Houston, Clover you're up. When you get to the casino there will be a guitar case full of supplies for you to use. The first thing you'll need to do is get a keycard from one of the guests for his room. Once you're in the room you'll use provided knock-out gas and pump it through the vents which will lead to the guard room. Once all the guards are out disable the vault lasers and get the cash. In case the job goes loud I'm sending in Hox, Dallas and, Wolf as a skeleton crew" Bain explained.

"Whos the fourth guy on the skeleton crew?" Houston asked.

Bain paused for a second.

"About that so, the Golden Grin's vault is like nothing we've hit before. It's not the type of thing you can just drill into so we'll have to go in from the top and to do that we needed a plasma arc cutter and there's only one guy I know who can build one. I contacted him to build one in exchange for a spot in the gang so codename Sokol will meet you in Vegas." Bain said.

"You recruited someone without asking us?" Dallas said.

"It's my gang"

"True"

After a few days, the crew flew to Vegas and stayed at the Luxor hotel until the job. There they met Sokol and he introduced himself to everyone. They muddled around for a few days until game day. Bain had one of his guys come to pick up everyone in a limo. In the trunk were the loud gang's guns and some C4 for good cause. They pulled up to the casino and Houston and Clover stepped out to get to work. In the car, Dallas poured some champagne for himself and they began chatting.

"You know I kinda hope the plan fails. I would hate to see that beauty go to waste" Sokol said in his thick Russian accent.

Wolf looked over at him jealously. Just as Hoxton was about to speak the door opened to reveal Houston with Clover standing behind him.

"What are you doing here?" Sokol asked.

"You're up"

"The fuck do you mean we're up?" Dallas asked.

"I and he got to the pool and saw one of the guards walking away with the case" Clover recounted.

"Shit" Was all Bain could say.

The rest of the crew just sighed as they got out of the car and went to the trunk to grab their gear.

"Ok, gang I know I didn't explain the loud plan so ill tell you as you go. First Wolf make sure to grab the C4 and head to the main gambling area" Bain told them.
