Katherina hummed as she readied herself with the daily brunch with her- well, she wasn't sure what they were to her. Her father's family? Or maybe one day her's...

It's been almost three months since she moved in.

Ever since, she has gotten closer with all of them.

She would occasionally drink tea with her father. The Two of them just talking for hours about nothing and everything all at once. Or she would paint with Feyre. Challenging one another in competitions on who could paint this or that better.

Occasionally, she would sit and read with Nesta. Which Katherina had begun to do more frequently since she began reading the more... intimate books.

Or Katherina would garden with Elain, combining plants to create a whole new flower.

Or she'd go out to dinner with Lucien. Trying new foods to bring back to Elain or recipes to bake for her. (Which Katherina felt was incredibly romantic)

Or, she would spar with Cassian. The Illyrian teaching her about various fighting methods and defenses. Making certain that she could protect anyone who harmed her or her family.

Or she'd take to the skies with Azriel. Since their awkward encounter at the House of Wind, the two of them have become closer.

He had lifted her into his arms and flown her up above Velaris after she revealed she didn't have wings when he inquired if she hid them like her Father.

She would also go shopping with Morrigan on occasion. Katherina's closet looked like a light show, thanks to the female who was filling it with jewels and clothes.

Or she would practice magic with Amren. The tiny goddess suspected Katherina to bear abilities either from her father or the magic her mother had stolen. She wonders if some of that power went to Katherina as Feyre's had when they brought her back.

So far, they had only discovered that Katherina could winnow, was faster and stronger than the ordinary High Fae, but her healing abilities seem to take longer. Like a Human.

But the time Katherina loved most was spending time with her brother. When Rhysand told Nyx he had a sister, His eyes seemed to glow. Katherina couldn't help but shed tears.

He never asked why she didn't look like him or her father or Feyre. Never seemed to question why. Nyx just went along.

"You're making a mess." A deep voice muttered behind her.

Katherina turned her gaze to the stars.

Shadows swirled around him as he stood at the bathroom door frame. With every breath he drew, his shadows danced. His skin shined brightly, as it always did. However, not of light.

He moved closer to her, reaching behind her with his hand. He didn't put her hair behind her ear like she expected; instead, he brought out an emerald green dress.

He grinned as he said, "Green compliments you best."

Katherina flushed as she took the gown from him and strided to the immaculately made bed, where she laid the gown down.

"I'm sure you're aware seeing a female naked is considered taboo, especially when said female is being watched by a five-thousand-year-old male," Katherina quipped.

The Darkness laughed, "Nothing I haven't seen before."

To be fair, it was true.

Katherina wasn't sure what was happening with her body when she was younger, so the Darkness had to strip her bare to see if anything was amiss until they discovered that the Female Fae bled twice a year.
