Jax's POV
Her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she was hitting the floor before I could grasp what was happening.
My heart pounded as I grabbed onto her.
She was convulsing. Her head whipped back and forth as her body shook rapidly.
"Luna!"
She was having a seizure.
I rolled her onto her side while she fought back. She was all shaking limbs and spasms in every direction.
I couldn't even think straight.
My breathing became rapid as I held her, trying to keep her head from slapping against the floor.
This couldn't be happening.
"HELP!" I yelled, finally realizing what to do.
In an instant, her body stilled and she let out a huge gasp.
"Luna!" I cradled her neck, my hands shook slightly.
She still had tears on her cheeks and a dazed look in her eyes, like she had no clue what just happened.
Her eyes traveled all around my face before looking around me. Recognition must have hit her instantly because she was already shoving herself away from me.
My chest was still rising and falling too quickly as we both stood up.
She wiped her face quickly and looked at me with wide eyes.
"Luna wh-what...what was that?" I said sounding strained and out of breath.
I was still trying to process it all.
She just had a seizure. One moment she was crying and pouring her heart out and the next she was losing consciousness and moving uncontrollably.
She seemed distraught as she fumbled across the room and grabbed her shoes.
My mind was replaying the last 2 minutes, trying to make sure it wasn't just in a nightmare.
Luna was out the door before I could even realize it.
"Luna!" I was sprinting towards the entryway when Carmen appeared and blocked me.
She looked frazzled and concerned. "What the hell happened? I left you and Luna alone for like 10 minutes and I just saw her run out of here." Her expression darkened quickly. "What did you say?"
I swallowed, still feeling my heart beating too fast.
"She had a seizure." I managed to say clearly.
Carmen's eyes widened and she turned to run towards the stairwell in seconds.
I was on her heels in an instant as she ran down the stairs.
She knew something and I could feel it in the way she was slowly panicking.
She full-on ran towards the dressing room and burst through the door.
No one was there and Luna's locker was left open slightly, revealing that she had already taken her stuff and left.
"Carmen, what is going on?" I said running a hand through my hair, letting out a huge breath. "Where did Luna run off to?"
She turned to me and shook her head. "She's probably on her way home right now." Carmen was opening her locker and stuffing her things into her bag in a hurry. "Look, we're just gonna have to cancel rehearsal for today. Don't worry about it, she'll be fine."
