Chapter 16

(Levi P.O.V.)
It has been three days since Eren and I had kissed, and three days since we agreed to go out with each other. Everyone had found out and were happy for us. You know with the exception of Mikasa because she doesn't want to see Eren hurt again. I had promised her that I would take care of him and that seemed to be enough to calm her skepticism, though she still didn't trust me completely. You could have seen it in her eyes

It was just a few minutes after school had ended, the guys and I were meeting up and were going to go tux shopping, fun. I've never really been a big fan of clothes shopping but I was willing to make the effort for Eren. He seemed very excited with the ordeal and it was impossible for me to back down.

I made my way over to where Eren, Erwin, Connie, and Armin were. We were taking Erwin's Toyota again so I had to sit on Eren's lap. This time it wasn't so awkward. It felt right, actually.

"Hey Erwin, we should hit up the skate park again after we finish." Connie said as we pulled out of the parking lot.

"Without the others?"

"Oh please, the girls went to Petra's house for the night."

Erwin chuckled. "I don't see any problem with it then."

"YEAH!" Connie yelled and punched the roof. Good god, he was worse than Eren.

Traffic wasn't as bad as it usually was and we got to the formal wear store in less than forty five minutes. We all piled out of the car. Eren was the last to get out but his foot had caught on the door which made him fall and end up on top of me.

"Hey now, what's the rush?" I joked.

He laughed loudly and kissed my cheek before helping me up. He was always the one to bring me to my feet when I fell, or in this case crushed. I playfully punched his shoulder before we caught up with the others.

The woman at the front desk was pretty nice, she appointed us to different aisles of tuxes because we all had a different size. I walked down the aisle and looked but nothing really sparked my fancy.

"You need any help?" Eren asked and walked over to me.

"None of these really look interesting." Eren smiled then took me by the hand.

"Come on, let's go check the back. They have some in your size and they are different from these."

Eren tugged me through the store and to the back of the room. He was right. These tuxes were different because they were colored and not just black and white.

"Now, I think you should go with colors that bring out your complexion. You either have the choices of blue, red, and or green."

"I think I'll go with the red, I like that shade a lot." I said looking at the tux that was hanging up. It was crimson, a very stand out shade of red, and it was three articles of clothing. The dress shirt was black and the over vest was red, the dress pants that came along with it were also black with a seam. I couldn't see the bow tie but I bet my nickel it was the same color as the pants.

I picked it up off the rack and went over to the changing room. "Let me see when you get finished!" Eren hollered from outside the door.

After I finished getting dressed I pulled at the collar as I gazed into the mirror. Wearing a suit was kind of foreign considering I never really wore one since I was eleven.

"What's up, Levi?"

"I feel weird in this."

"I'm sure you look fine, come out." he reached behind the curtain and grabbed my hand. He pulled me out before I could protest. I hit his chest with a slight force but it wasn't enough to make us fall.

"See, you look amazing." It was then I realized that Eren had changed into his own suit. It was a velvet green vest with a black dress shirt and black pin-striped pants that made his legs look longer.

"You don't look bad either."

My eyes scanned his entire body before I leaned up. "Not at all." I said before kissing him.

"Hey now lovebirds, save it for the slow dance." Armin teased. My face heated up as we pulled away.

"Your one to talk, we saw you sucking faces with Erwin yesterday."

Erwin had asked Armin out two days after Eren and I got together. Armin was so happy at the time you could have practically felt the warmth that radiated off of him. Not to mention he was a giggling mess.

"That's none of your buisness, Eren." Armin said as his face turned an interesting shade of red.

The blondes attitude was tough at first but when you brought something up that included something hypocritical about him he'd lose his bite and turn into a blushing mess.

We laughed at his misfortune and
Eren and I went back into the dressing rooms and changed into our regular clothing. My band t-shirt and ripped skinny jeans felt way more familiar than that suit. After we finished dressing we went to the register where Connie and Erwin were already waiting for us. We paid the rental for our suits and left the store.

Eren couldn't wait to get to the skate park. He was literally bouncing in his seat as we pulled down the familiar roadway. I was chill with the idea because Eren said he'd continue to teach me how to skate. I just hoped that I wouldn't fall and bust my ass again. I'd rather not have a bruised tail bone again, no thank you.

When we pulled up to the parking lot we piled out and went to the back to get our things. Since last time I came unprepared I went ahead and bought my own skateboard. It had a cool logo sign on the bottom. It was a wing that was blue and white with the words 'Wings of Freedom' designed into a cursive print. Something about the skateboard just drew me in and I bought it without a second thought.

Erwin, Connie, and Armin went over to shred some rails while Eren and I went to our usual place for my 'training' as Eren had called it.

I put the board down and got on.

"Remember what I said, only bend your knees a little and don't bend back."

I nodded as I pushed off with my right foot. I stayed on the board for a good five seconds before I jumped off. "Dammit, I'm going to be killed by this thing."

Eren laughed. "Try again."

I did so and this time I stayed on and didn't even fall off. "That's it you've got it!" Eren cheered and ran over to me. I was grinning because of my progress. I actually did it and got rewarded with a tight hug from Eren.

We pulled away after a few moments. "Want to race?" I asked.

"Oh you are so on."

We stayed at the park until a few minutes before midnight. Erwin drove Eren and I to my house. We said good bye and went inside.

"That was so much fun." I said and plopped on the couch.

"You usually seem happier when we go there so I thought it was a good idea." Eren said then took a seat next to me.

I was happier. I was happy because I got to have fun, I was happy because I got to laugh so much, I was happy because I was with Eren. I smiled up at him and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you, Eren."

"Your welcome, let's go upstairs and go to sleep."

I nodded then lead the way to my room. We climbed into my bed and nuzzled together.

"I love you." he said and kissed my forehead.

"I love you, too."
