"Wake up silly!" His friend nudged him. "It's nearly archery time!"

"Whaa?" Revali looked at his alarm clock. "Oh no!" He grabbed his bow and tried to make himself less messy.

"Alright, let's go!" The two ran towards the flight range.

"Attention students!" The teacher yelled. "Today we will be trying a different tactic."

"Oooh!" Everyone said in unison.

"We will be sparring with each other." The teacher said.

One student raised his hand. He was a bully, and a very strong archer.

"Can we pick our partners?" He asked.

"No, I've already chosen partners." The teacher said.

"Awwww man." Everyone said.

The teacher started to list off partners. He drifted away until the teacher said that his friend be paired with the bully.

"And lastly Revali will be paired with me. Remember: No maiming, No serious conflicts, ONLY ATTACK THE ARMOR."

"Okay!" Almost everyone said in unison.

"Okay, BEGIN!"

Revali smacked the teacher's armor with his foot, and shot an arrow that pierced the armor.

"Nice, think fast!" The teacher aimed a kick and Revali ducked, and the kick sailed over his head.

Revali glanced over to see his friend and how he was doing. He had to stop himself from gasping. They weren't sparring. They were battling.

"Revali pay- Oh no."

Revali launched himself into the bully but not before he shot an arrow, piercing right through the armor and into his friend's heart.

"No!" Revali tackled him, and kicked hard. Harder than he ever kicked before.

The bully sailed over the guard railing and fell, screaming into the fog below.

"REAVLI!" The teacher snapped. "YOU CANNOT ATTACK A FELLOW STUDENT AND SEND HIM INTO THE ABYSS!"

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-"

"I thought you knew better than to fight on the edge of a platform." The teacher's voice was icy.

"What about him?" Revali gestured to his friend. Then instantly paled as the teacher grmiced.

No. This can't happen again.

"NO!" Revali launched himself upwards and the students gaped.

He didn't know what he had done. He didn't care. He flew back home and collapsed onto bed.

He was broken.

So he trained harder, fought harder and tried to improve his flying skills.

Finally he achieved his dream. He had become the greatest warrior in Rito.

Finally he had what he had longed for.

He had people that admired him, and regarded him as someone great.

But he was broken. Almost beyond repair.

I won't care for anyone else. He thought to himself. Because if I do, something will happen and I'll lose them.
