Revali tried to avoid everyone the rest of the day.

It wasn't that hard. Urbosa was busy congratulating Link on his fighting skill. Daruk was happily chatting with Zelda, whilst eating a truckload of... food? Revali didn't know how to describe it.

Mipha on the other hand, was a lot harder to avoid.

He finally went into his "room" and sat on the windowsill.

"Hello? Can I come in?" Mipha's voice called from the door.

"When did you get here?" Revali turned.

"I saw you going to your room. Are you feeling unwell?" She seemed genuinely concerned.

"I said I'm fine." He turned back to stare at the window.

"Your hurt." Mipha said.

"Wha- I said I'm fine!" Revali said.

Mipha's fingers glowed with magic. The dull throbbing disappeared, and the wound closed.

"How-"

"It's my skill. Not really a battle skill, more like..."

"An aftermath skill?" Revali asked.

"Yes. Something like that." Mipha said.

"I never thought I would see something like this in my entire life." Urbosa's voice called from the doorway.

"Hey! Why are you here?" Revali snapped.

"I was just wandering around the hallways of hyrule castle." Urbosa said briskly. "So I'm guessing everyone has a room?"

"Yes." Mipha said. "I already found mine."

Urbosa grinned. "Well, I better help Daruk find his room. I think he'd be going in circles if he tried to do that alone."

Urbosa briskly walked past Revali's door and went to find Daruk.

Mipha turned towards him. "Why are you so... different around everyone?"

"..."

"I understand if you don't want to tell me." Mipha said. "It's just... odd."

His brain stared waging a mini war of thoughts.

Tell her! Don't be trapped in an icy shell!

Don't tell her! Something bad will happen!

Revali couldn't say anything.

Mipha backed away. "Maybe have some time to think? I can leave."

"Okay..." He said.

Mipha's crimson scales disappeared around the corner.

Why am I feeling this? This strange feeling...

He shook himself off, remembering the last time this had happened.

If I truly do care for them... I can't stay with them. Something will happen and I will lose them.

Revali looked at the setting sun, gazing across the horizon.

He sighed and flopped onto the bed.

Wow, this was...

A whole lot shorter than the other ones!

Welp, I'll just do another chapter or something.

Bye!
