Yoongi slammed his alarm off, waking up with a sigh.

He had slept well, knowing he had gotten a murderer off the streets last night, and this case would be closed soon. Then he could get back to playing Solitare, and finally beat Cotinisnitida, the player ranked at the top.

Raising his arms above his head, he stretched, feeling better when his back popped.

He took a quick shower and changed into black pants and a white button up with a black tie, quickly brushed his hair and teeth, and headed down the stairs.

Namjoon was still asleep on the couch, his tied legs bent up to his chest, lying on his side as much as he could with the rope around his choker.

He was frowning, shivering slightly.

Yoongi walked past him and headed to the kitchen, starting a pot of coffee.

Pulling out his phone, he called Jeon Jungkook.

"Good morning sir." The intern quickly answered.

"Get me the security footage of KKoim." Yoongi ordered. "Stage and back rooms."

"Yes sir, right away. What date and time?" Jungkook scrambled to obey the detective.

"Two days ago, between ten and midnight."

Jungkook nodded, even though Yoongi couldn't see him. "Yes sir, anything else?"

"What do we know about the Serena murder?"

"I gathered everything and put it in a file for you. It's on your desk." Jungkook said. "Do you want me to read it to you now?"

"No, I'll read it when I get in." Yoongi hung up.

He grabbed his still steaming mug of coffee and walked back to the living room.

The sleeping boy was still shivering, and Yoongi huffed.

He grabbed his trench coat off the floor and draped it over the boy, watching as the shivering gradually stopped, the student's breathing evening out.

He thought about heading to the station now to look at the file, but he also didn't want to leave a murderer unsupervised in his house, even if the boy was tied to the couch.

Sitting back down on the chair, he pulled up his phone, tapping his Solitare app and settled down to play a few rounds.

-

After nearly an hour, Yoongi growled and shoved the phone away.

It was like no matter how much progress he made, he never beat Cotinisnitida.

Yoongi: 28,496 points - Rank 83

Cotinisnitida: 90,285 points - Rank 1

In a bad mood now, he stood up and went to the kitchen, grabbing a knife.

He filled a glass of water and stomped back to the living room, throwing the water on the sleeping boy.

Namjoon flinched as the water hit him, waking up with a gasp. He tried to get away from the water attack, but the ropes held him in place.

"Wake up." Yoongi slammed the cup on the table.

Namjoon shook his head, trying to get the dripping water off his face. "I hate you. I mean it."

"Love you too, peaches." Yoongi pulled out the knife and Namjoon stiffened as the detective leaned over him, heart pounding.

Yoongi grabbed the boys shoulder and flipped him back onto his front, pinning him there as he hooked the sharp blade under the rope binding the boys arms together.

Namjoon winced as Yoongi yanked the blade through the ropes in one thrust, staying still as the detective cut through the other ropes as well.

"You got my coat dirty." Yoongi said after freeing the student.

Namjoon relaxed only when Yoongi stepped back, cautiously sitting up.

His limbs hurt from being restrained in an uncomfortable position all night, and he was cold. The cold water didn't help anything either.

He rubbed his arms, trying to get warm as well as restore blood flow. Glancing over his shoulder, he saw a beige trench coat laying on the couch, and he wondered when and how that had gotten there.

Yoongi didn't remove the handcuffs, however, and Namjoon didn't think he was going to for a long time.

"Come on." Yoongi grabbed Namjoon's arm, yanking him off the couch and shoved him towards the door.

"What, where are we going?" Namjoon stumbled as Yoongi pulled him down the driveway. "Don't I get a shower or something to eat or drink? Or clothes?"

"You just took a shower." Yoongi smirked, opening the side door and Namjoon glared as he was pushed inside again.

The door slammed shut, and Namjoon watched Yoongi walk around the car and climb inside.

"How can you even sleep at night knowing you're doing this?" Namjoon scowled as Yoongi started driving.

"I slept like a baby last night, thanks for asking."

Namjoon huffed, slamming his head back against the head rest. "This is bullshit! You literally kidnapped me for no reason and accused me of murdering my own friend and best client! I'm cold and tired and scared and you keep pointing weapons at me and don't treat me like a person and threaten me all the time with no evidence I did anything to deserve this!"

Yoongi yanked the wheel to the side, steering the car off to the side of the road.

Slamming on the brakes, Yoongi grabbed the strippers jaw tightly, his fingers digging harshly into the tan skin as he forced Namjoon to look at him.

Terrified wide eyes met dark narrowed ones.

Yoongi gripped him harder, his free hand pulling out his gun, which he put against the boys temple, slowly dragging it down.

"Are you done?" Yoongi asked in a chilling tone.

Namjoon said nothing, heart pounding loud enough for Yoongi to hear.

"I'll take that as a yes." Yoongi's breath puffed against Namjoon's lips from how close they were. "Now listen to me, whore, and fucking listen good. I don't give a damn about your feelings or wellbeing. You've killed two people, and I don't have any sympathy for killers. Whining won't get you anything but a bullet, understand? My intuition is never wrong. Never."

Namjoon hesitated, then gave a tiny nod.

"Good." Yoongi tapped the gun gently against the boys plush lips. "Are we going to understand each other from now on?"

Another tiny nod.

"Maybe you haven't sexed out all your braincells after all, slut." Yoongi patronized, slowly trailing the gun up and down the gold chain that ran down the strippers front. "Any more outbursts you wanna say before get going again?"

A microscopic head shake.

"Good boy." Yoongi pulled back, steering the car back onto the road.

Namjoon sat completely frozen, too shaken to even blink, especially when Yoongi kept the gun aimed at him as he drove one handed down the road.
