Oliver and George rushed throughout the house searching every room twice if necessary though there was very little of value left; someone had been here before them. That thought gave Oliver hope that there were more survivors out there till he realised it was probably the former owners of the house who took everything. He checked a door but it wouldn't budge so he assumed it was locked for a reason and continued on his way. Skylar had said anything that might need so he assumed that she meant what he was thinking, he had seen something earlier that matched it perfectly and he just hoped that George didn't stumble upon it before him.

Elsewhere George had found a room that had peaked his curiosity; it contained a massive speaker system and a brand new DJ deck, it saddened him that he would never get to play on them even for just a little bit. Reluctantly he dragged himself out, he had to find things that would help them survive and not only items that he liked. There was something he'd seen earlier that he knew would definitely make it better, he just hoped Oliver didn't stumble upon it before him.

They both ran as fast as they could, jumped down the stairs, passed the cooks office and straight to the fridge.

"What are you" they say together.

"I found it first" George whined, "you're bigger you can reach things better than me."

"Only one of us can take it" jibed Oliver.

"What would Skylar say" stated George attempting to guilt trip Oliver but it didn't work, instead Oliver held out his fist and George held out his. They showed on three, Oliver groaned as he lost again. George grinned from ear to ear then opened the fridge and took his prize, a large bar of chocolate.

"Yeah, yeah don't rub it in" said Oliver looking glum, "how about a new game; he who collects the most gear wins."

"Deal" George agreed shaking hands with Oliver.

"Has to be gear we need right" warned Oliver more to himself than George who clung tightly to his chocolate. "Ready, set, go" Oliver barked then hovered back as George charged off, after some time he set off.

Searching through every room for anything they could use they were becoming disheartened by the lack of it all, so far they had found very little. Oliver had found a nursery which surprised him, the family must have been expecting another child but he didn't remember seeing any photos of a pregnancy. He scanned the room believing there must be medical supplies in there somewhere but after checking every cupboard three times he conceited that there was nothing there, not even a lonely tissue. Next room up was a bathroom which he was again sure there would be some good stuff in there. Almost cheering he gladly pulled out a whole range of disinfectant wipes, a big box of plasters and nail clippers which were always handy to have. Stuffed right at the back was a first aid kit, one designed for use in the field. Why do these people have something like this he wondered, not that he complaining about it as he knew how useful it could be.

"Jackpot" he murmured stuffing it into his bag starting to wonder how George was getting on.

George rounded a corner to find another corridor, this place was like a maze and he remembered how much he hated them. He checked every room along this corridor, they were mainly bedrooms with the usual items but he did notice the lack of certain items like mattresses and sheets. There were stairs at the end of this corridor and he made for them realising he hadn't gone downstairs yet. He descended into a large room taken up by lots of washing machines and dryers, he stared at them all wondering how much laundry was used by the family. Hidden amongst the cupboards was everything they would need should they go underground, there were helmets, miles of rope, a dozen torches and buckets full of carabineers of all shapes and sizes. He decided what he wanted then stuffed it into his bag which was still fairly empty. He was unsure about the rope, did he take it or leave it as it would take up much space in his bag. Figuring out a plan he clipped it onto the side of the bag with some of the carabineers, he was rather pleased with the result even if it made the bag heavy on one side. He just needed something that evened it out so he grabbed another rope and did just that although it did make the bag incredibly heavy. Glancing at his watch his jaw dropped, he'd been searching for well over two hours surely Skylar had figured something out by now. He hurried around a few more rooms trying to find anything that might be useful before returning to the library with a look of relief.
