 As they walked further in Hanguang-jun could hear the yells of one familiar boy "Hanguang-jun, Hanguang-jun you're finally back!" Jingyi said bowing not noticing the man beside him, later the more sensible twin walked up to them acknowledging not to break the rules "Hanguang-jun... Jingyi, no yelling or running, remember?" Sizhui said bowing also not noticing his other adoptive father next to him. As they both rose from their bow they finally noticed Wei Wuxian. Ignoring all the 4,000 rules Sizhui yelled "DIA!*" he quickly grabbed him into a tight hug "A-yuan, you just scolled Jingyi for yelling now you're yelling?" Wei Wuxian asked with a small smile, "I haven't seen you in two years though..." Sizhui said quietly. Jingyi still stood there with his mouth and eyes wide open still not being able to comprehend what's going on. "Jingyi, close your mouth, flies are going to fly in." Wei Wuxian said with a chuckle, Jingyi quickly closed his mouth and bowed. "Master Wei." he said politely, "whaaa... I never expected you to speak politely to me." "I kinda had to Hanguang-jun is here..." He said grumbling. "I see, well, my dear Hanguang-jun and I have to go visit grandmaster Lan to ask for permission so I can live here." Wei Wuxian stated. "You're going to stay here?! Forever?!" Sizhui said with pure joy on his face. "yes, Sizhui, he'll be living here." Hanguang-jun said. "Now if you would excuse us." Wei Wuxian said walking off with his soulmate still holding hands. "okay Dia good luck! Don't insult anyone or break any rules or else you definitely won't be able to live here." Sizhui said as Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian walked off. "Yes, Yes, I know!" Wei Wuxian yelled back, "No yelling Wei Ying." Lan Wangji said calmly, "Alright, alright, sorry Hanguang-jun," Wei Wuxian said with a bit of playfulness in his voice.

They arrived at Master Lan's room and Wei Wuxian has never been this anxious in his life not even when he rescued the Wens or fought all the main clans with only him and Hanguang-jun. He took deep breathes while looking at the door, Lan Wangji obviously noticing grabbed his hand tighter, "Everything is going to be okay Wei Ying." Hearing Wangji's voice he felt more confident. He adjusted his posture to look confident and brave. "Let's go Lan Zhan." Wei Wuxian said confidently. Lan Wangji knocked on the door, "Uncle it's me..." Lan Zhan said trying his hardest not to stutter or sound stressed. "Come in Wangji." Grandmaster Lan said with slight warmness in his usual cold voice.  The soulmates walk in hand in hand nearly sending Grandmaster into qi devastation. "What are you doing here?" He said coldly, knowing it was aimed at him, Wei Wuxian immediately dropped to his knees, "Wei Ying, what are you doing?" Lan Wangji asked in shock. Ignoring his question he deep bowed and asked, "Grandmaster Lan, please allow me to stay in Cloud Recesses with your nephew. I've never struggled so much in my life, I missed your nephew with my whole heart and being separated from him for another day could kill me. Please allow me to stay." Wei Wuxian asked desperately. "Wangji, get him off the ground so I can properly talk to him." Lan Wangji immediately helped Wei Wuxian off the ground. "I will allow you to stay as long as you promise me something," Grandmaster Lan started, Hearing Grandmaster Lan start talking they immediately paid attention. "... You'll treat Wangji well and never harm him in any way." He finished off his sentence. "I would never do anything knowing it could harm Lan Zhan so I can sincerely promise you I'll never put your nephew in any harm." Hearing this Lan Qiren nodded, "Alright you may live here.." Hearing this Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji looked at each other and smiled. "you may leave." Lan Qiren said. The boys politely bowed and left the room.
