Instead of going in Wei Wuxian decided to listen to the conversation. He froze when Lan Wangji said something shocking.

"W-what did you just say?" Wei Wuxian said still in shock. Lan Wangji and Lan Zizhen quickly snapped their heads to look at Wei Wuxian.

"W- Wei Ying..."

W- Wei Gongzi..." the two twin jades said in sync.

"Lan Zhan what did you just say?!" Wei Wuxian yelled 

"Wei Ying, I can't tell you right now, I'm sorry..." Lan Wangji said looking down in shame

"Something you can't tell me?! I thought we had no secrets! Huh?! What happened to not having secrets?! Now repeat what the fuck you just said!" Wei Wuxian yelled now furious.

" Wangji, I'll let you deal with him, tell him everything, who knows maybe he could help," Lan Xichen said looking at his brother.

"Alright, I will..." Lan Wangji said looking down still a bit unsure.

With that Lan, Xichen left letting the couple talk about what's happening. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji walked into Jingshi together but Wei Wuxian was avoiding eye contact with Lan Wangji at all still pissed that he's keeping secrets from him. They sat down on the bed together. Wei Wuxian patiently waited for the answer to his question.

"So basically what's happening is someone is going around Yiling acting like you, they even moved into burial mounds to make it seem like they really are you."

"Lan Zhan, that happens all the time it's not that big of a deal why did you keep this from me." Wei Wuxian said disappointed that's what the big secret was.

"it's not just that though," Hanguang-Jun said looking down, "they've gone to a new extreme, they've been summoning puppets to hunt the villagers they even have a replica of your flute. They're going all out and we've already sent people there but they all come back extremely injured if not dead," Hanguang-Jun looked up to see Wei Wuxian completely frozen in place not having clue to react, " We think they're trying to taint your reputation again." Hanguang-Jun said finishing his sentence.

"Why do people hate me so much? Why Lan Zhan?! Why?! Why can't I just live in peace and not have anyone want me dead?! I just want to live happily with my family! Is it that hard just to let me live?!" Wei Wuxian said finally breaking down. Lan Wangji quickly pulled him into his chest rubbing his back, back and forth to calm him down.

"Shh... It's okay, Wei Ying, We can solve this I promise, no one will get hurt anymore." Lan Wangji said laying Wei Wuxian on the bed, "Go to sleep have a nice sleep, don't stress too much, I would solve this I promise." 

"mn..." is all Hanguang-Jun got as a response not even 2 seconds later Wei Wuxian fell asleep exhausted after crying so hard. Hanguang-Jun bent down and gave Wei Wuxian a kiss on his forehead when a knock came from the door interrupting the moment. Lan Wangji walked up to the door hoping it was what he thought it was. 

"Hanguang-Jun." One of the inner disciples said bowing.

"Is it here?" Lan Wangji asked curiously.

"yes, it's at the gating waiting for you, I have people guarding it."

"Good Job you may leave now."

With that Hanguang-Jun eagerly rushed down the steps up to the gate. 'I can't believe it's here already.' Was the only thing Lan Wangji could think about right now.
