Escorting Jin Ling, Zizhen, Hanguang-jun and Wei Wuxian, Sizhui and Jingyi bowed leaving since only Clan Leader can participate.

"Good luck Dia," Sizhui said smiling while inside he was extremely nervous about what the outcome will be of his fathers announcing their relationship to the cultivation world.

"We'll be fine, don't stress too much, okay?" Wei Wuxian said being able to read what's going on in his son's mind.

"I won't now hurry, you can't be late and make worse of an impression."

"Okay, okay, we better leave now. Let's go?" Wei Wuxian asked looking at Lan Wangji.

"mn.." Lan Wangji said with a slight nod.

The two juniors walked in first as Hanguang-jun and Wei Wuxian walked in after hand in hand. They heard whispers but didn't care until one comment triggered Lan Wangji to look towards one of the Clan leaders.

"What did you say?" Lan Wangji said as calmly as possible.

"A-ah... Hanguang-jun..." One of the smaller clan leader stuttered.

"Repeat what you just said." Lan Wangji said in more of a demanding voice now.

"Ah, Lan Zhan relax..," Wei Wuxian said holding his partner's hand tighter "Don't pay attention to what they say.."

"Wei Ying I can't let him slander you like that! Now repeat!" Hanguang-jun said now raising his voice which was really rare.

"I-I said, he should've died with those Wen dogs.., BUT HE'S THE YILING PATRAICH, NONE OF THIS MESS WOULD'VE HAPPENED IF IT WASN'T FO-" He was quickly silenced by a loud thud. They all turned to Jiang Cheng clenching his cup in pure anger.

"From my knowledge, you weren't even in the cultivation world during that time so what would you know?! Huh?!" Jiang Cheng yelled. Leaving everyone shocked especially Wei Wuxian. 'Didn't he hate me?' Wei Wuxian pondered.

"Everyone, everyone, let's calm down, alright?" Lan Zichen said quickly so the issue couldn't get bigger than it already is.

After everyone calmed down Hanguang-jun and Wei Wuxian stood at the front getting ready to announce their relationship officially. Taking deep breathes in and out Lan Wangji started talking.

"I understand this may be a shock to some and not so much to others but I have very important news to spread. Wei Wuxian and I are official cultivation partners and will get married in 4 months." Hanguang-jun said calming. 

There were whispers everywhere some in nice and kind others slandered the relationship, 'Yiling Patriarch and Hanguang-jun how ridiculous, one is a highly respected cultivator the other one betrayed his family for some useless Wen People.', 'Wahh, I'm so happy for them I'll make sure to come to the wedding if I'm invited!', 'That wedding and marriage will both go down in flames they'll never make it.', 'this marriage will be the marriage of the centre.' Not paying attention to the comments Wei Wuxian Bowes respectfully asking for permission to leave. Seeing Wei Wuxian leave Jaing Cheng quickly got up to follow.

"Wei Wuxian, wait for me!" Jaing Cheng yelled desperately.

"Jiang Cheng? Why are you following me?" Wei Wuxian asked out of pure curiosity.

"I came to see you of course," Jiang Cheng said with an eye roll.

"ahh.., but why?" Wei Wuxian said rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.

"I need to talk to you." Jiang Cheng said with a serious face.
