Arriving at the Jingshi the couple walked in. "Wahh... Lan Zhan, how are you so organised?" Wei Wuxian said in shock.
"It's not that neat.., if I knew you were going to move in, it would be spotless."
"Not that neat?! This is what I call spotless! What would you call messy then?!'
"Wei Ying, we're off-topic."
"Ahh.. sorry Lan Zhan"
"Let's go to sleep so we're prepared for questions at dinner..." Lan Wangji said calmly
"I'm looking forward to that dinner, imagine the elder's reaction." Wei Wuxian said while picturing it.
"Wei Ying," Lan Wangji said with a warning voice. "sleep."
"Okay, okay, sorry Lan Zhan."
They lay down on the bed going to sleep getting ready for the long dinner ahead of them.

After a good 3 hours of sleep dreaming about spending time with his A-yuan and Lan Zhan, Wei Wuxian woke up to light kisses on his forward.
"Wei Ying wake up." Lan Zhan said trying to wake his soulmate up.
"I'm awake..." Wei Wuxian said groggily.
"Get ready you have 20 minutes then we have to meet the elders."
"mn..." Wei Ying said getting up still half asleep.

After getting ready the boys ran into the juniors, Jin Ling, Sizhui, Jingyi and Zizhen.
"Are you going to the dinner? I thought it was only for sect leaders" Wei Wuxian asked obviously not catching on that Zizhen and Jin Ling are now sect leaders.
"Master Wei you know that Jin Ling and I are now sect leaders, right?" Zizhen asked.
"Oh right, Jin Ling must've had to take over, What about you though, Zizhen?" Wei Wuxian asked obliviously.
"My father died last year so I had to take over the sect." Zhizhen said looking down.
"Oh, I'm deeply sorry for your loss." Wei Wuxian said with guilt laced in his voice.
"It's okay you didn't know."
"Wei Ying, we have to go we'll be late." Lan Wangji whispered to Wei Wuxian.
"Right, shall we go together?" Wei Wuxian asked the Juniors.
"Sure, shall we?" Sizhui said.
