"Hanguang-Jun, Hanguang-Jun, there's been an issue at the gate and we don't know how to control it." With that Hanguang-Jun and Wei Wuxian rushed towards the gate and stood there perplexed. There stood hundreds of dark spirits and a mystery man in the centre holding a replica of Chenqing.
Wei Wuxian POV
Who is that man? Why is he doing this? Am I that much of a role model to him that he attacked my home? Does he actually think I'll go with him if he acts like this?! What if Lan Zhan gets injured? What about the juniors?!
"Wei Ying settle."
That caught my attention I quickly looked into my fiance's eyes.
"Lan Zhan, how can I settle?! What if you become injured?! What about the juniors?! They've never had to experience this, They probably don't know what the fuck is going on! I'm not risking injuring Yuan or Jingyi!" I yelled at Lan Zhan... I can't believe I just yelled at Lan Zhan. I quickly looked up at him, other people would think he's perfectly fine and wasn't affected by my words, but he looked disappointed in me. What have I done?
"Lan Zhan, I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that. I'm just very worried. He could hurt you and I don't want anything bad to happen to you."
"Wei Ying. Nothing will happen. We need to stop this conversation and start helping out." After Lan Zhan finished I looked back and saw the mayhem that surrounded us. People were being thrown here and thereby the furious spirits. All I can hear is grunts and screams of agony. What the hell is this man doing? Why is he doing this?
"Wangji! Are you okay?!" I heard an older voice yell. I quickly looked behind to see Master Lan. Maybe he can help. Obviously, it did help as soon as the mystery man saw him, he fled with all the evil spirits following.
No one's POV
After everything settled Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji was sent into the tea room. When they walked in together it had a very dark vibe that sent chills down Wei Wuxian's back.
"Uncle." Lan Wangji said
"I've sent disciples to follow him. As expected he went back to burial mounds, I want you and Wei Wuxian to follow since you have the most experience with evil spirits."
"yes, uncle," Wangji said.
They bowed and headed off to pack their bags.
