"You must introduce yourself to the world." Allmight announced turning away from the window "and proudly say, 'I am here!'"
Me and Midoryia stayed sitting on the sofa next to one another, the tea in my hand was still warm from moments ago when allmight had poured it. "But allmight that's your catchphrase" he said finally looking away from the teacher "besides what can I do?"
He must be referring to his limited power whilst using one for all, he has only ever controlled the backlash of the power once and that was whilst it was on a person during the USJ attack against the Nomu, although I wouldn't even call that thing a person. At least we know now that the power can be controlled, it will just take a lot of work.
Allmight began walking back towards the sofa whilst speaking "you both know how the sports festival is set up right?" He inquired
"Not really"—"well yeah," we said in unison, we both looked at one another. "Students are separated by class and year and then separate into support, general, business studies and hero courses all fight against each other in a bunch of pulmonary trials. Whoever makes it through the initial games faces off in the finals. It's basically a round robin tournament" Midoryia said finishing off the explanation
"Right!" Allmight yelled pointing at us both "meaning you'll both have plenty of opportunities to sell yourself"
"I guess" Midoryia mumbled with hesitation. Midoriya began mumbling about the sports festival and the USJ attack. As they both carried on the conversation I thought of the trials ahead. Aizawa said this would be on national tv, meaning I'm at a huge disadvantage here, if even one person recognises my power then ill be caught.
As allmight and Midoryia began finishing up their conversation. I spoke up, "Is it really a good idea for me to participate in a national event?" I questioned the two "I mean, it. Just seems like a bad idea and a one way ticket to getting caught" I said finally placing my tea down
"Hmm..." allmight thought for a second "you do have a point, however, I think not being there would be more suspicious, to the pro heroes at least"
"She could always just say she hasn't recovered from the USJ incident" Midoryia pondered, Allmight shot him a look causing Miodryia to blurt out "but then again, the sports festival isn't happening for another week, so that excuse might not work"
We all sat there in silence thinking of what to do until allmight spoke up "Well I think the best cause of action is to just win" he smile with his thumbs up
"What?" I said
"That's the opposite of what we were just thinking about" Midoryia sighed
"Think of it this way, you both need to do your best to get counted, and it would just raise suspicion if you didn't give it your all, after all, everyone thinks you're aiming to be a hero. So just play along! You haven't been caught yet so why would they try anything on national television"
"Alright, I'll try my best" I smiled, as I continued speaking to allmight midoriya suddenly grabbed my arm and yelped.
"AHH, Seraph, we are going to be late to class" he screeched as he dragged me up off the sofa.
"Thank you allmight!" We both said in unison as we bowed before walking down the hallway jokingly arguing and pushing each other
As soon as Allmight saw we were both out of sight his smile faded 'everyone, including myself, is growing attached to her more and more every day he flopped down the sofa in defeat
