luck seems to always be on your side Midoryia but it always seems to backfire somehow.

the game was a simple one, but me and Midoryia being high up on the leaderboard put a huge target on our backs especially if we teamed together like I had originally planned. Not to mention that Todoroki and Kacchan will be our biggest foes in this battle, they have the greatest power and they may even work together, however, I highly doubt it.

building our own teams? I know Midoryia will already have a plan, hopefully, he has involved me within it. I walked over to Midoryia who looked deep in thought, hardly anyone was asking to join his team due to the immense amount of points he has whilst still not demonstrating his quirk.

On the other hand, lots of people were surrounding kacchan asking to be his partner. It appeared as though he was having a hard time picking the cream of the crop.

"Hey Midoryia," i said as he finally began acknowledging me
"Oh, Seraph! Well done in the last round, you did so well" he smiled
I laughed a little "You did well too, first place"
"Yeah only by luck though" he looked down at the ground "I made so many risky decisions in that first test and I didn't know if any of them would even turn out like they did. I guess I'm just lucky" he smiled nervously

I could see others teaming up in groups, sticking to people found in their class. No one wants to team up with us, if things carry on like this then we are gonna be a two man team.
"Hey deku' we turned to the familiar voice of Ururaka "let's team up!"
Those two began to talk back and forth about the match and strategies as I looked around for another person, I had one person in mind as I peered around the arena

"Who are you looking for Serpah" Ururaka questioned me
"IIda, I think we could all work well as a team to evade attacks"
"There he is!" Midoryia said spotting him within a crowed we all approached him

"Iida" Midoryia yelled out, he turned to face us "the three of us will be horses with Iida at the front using his quirk, Seraph would be the rider and be our main defence, Ururaka could make Iida and I way lighter so we are able to move around much faster and with ease, no one would catch us" Midoryia explained his plan to us
"Sounds good" I reassured
"Good idea"

"I know it's not much but it's the only evasive plan I can think of," Midoryia said looking at Iida for approval, seeing if his plan has impressed him enough to join the team
"A very good strategy but I'm sorry... I'm afraid I must refuse your offer."

"Huh? Why" I asked looking at him.
At first, I didn't like Iida, in fact, the image of him pissed me off. But after a few weeks of having no chance but to be around him due to Midoryia's unlikely friendship

"Since this, all started, I've been losing to you. Please don't take this as an insult your a great friend but if I continue to follow you then ill never get stronger." He readjusted his glasses on his face "bakugou and Todoroki have challenged you already but they aren't the only ones who see you as a rival." He turned to walk away from the group "Midoryia ill try my best to defeat you"

He walked towards his own group todoroki, kaminari and yaoyorozu.
"What so we tell you our plan and then you fuck us over" I took a step towards him to make sure he heard me but he only turned around from his group. They all seemed shocked by my little outburst, it was unnatural for me to show large bursts of emotion usually only little things such as a smile, giggle or a roll of the eye.

"Whoa Seraph calm down" Midoryia grabbed my arm and pulled me back like I was ready to lunge at Iida any second. Iida turned back around to face his team mates unable to look at me.
"Can't believe this" I Said through gritted teeth
"It's alright!" Ururaka said waving her hand back and forth "we can still find another team mate in time, we still have 7 minutes left"
