25. Gift

"Oye Saand uth! Kitna soyega? " Karan said to Faizi in order to wake the guy up.

"Aaj chutti hai, kam se kam aaj toh sone do hame! " Faizi said in his sleepy tone.

"Yeh tumhe baby ke saamne gift ki baat karne se pehle sochna chahiye tha! "Faizi grinned listening that and sat up straight on bed.

Last night when Karan was talking to baby, Faizi had told baby about about the new bright sling gifted by Monami which resulted in baby asking him to buy a gift for Monami as well. Karan initially looked annoyed but he couldn't deny baby so he agreed to it and since today was a holiday, he thought to go out and buy something for his Rani Saaheba.

"Ab agar tumhaari aakhein khul gayi ho toh jao ready ho! Ham gift lene jaa rahe hai! " Karan ordered while sitting on his bed.

"Arey lekin abhi toh sirf 9 bje hai! Is waqt koi bhi mall nahi khula hoga! " Faizi said looking at the watch.

"Mall? Waha kyu jana hai? Waise bhi waha bohot mehenga samaan milta hai, ham waha nahi kahi aur jaa rahe hai! " Karan replied back.

"Matlab ki tumne gift soch liya? " He asked.

"Yes! "

"Arey waah! Ham abhi ready hoke aate hai! " Faizi hurried out and once he came back the duo walked towards his jeep.

"Sirji aap dono itni subah subah kaha ja rahe hai? " Sanju asked as she spotted them.

"Arey Sanju ham toh.. " But before Faizi could reveal, Karan kept his palm over his mouth.

"Ham bas ghumne jaa rahe hai Sanju! Thodi der mei aa jayenge! " Karan replied to which she looked sceptical at him but nevertheless nodded and left.

"Oye saand puri academy ko bataane ki zarurat nahi hai. " Karan warned him removing his palm.

"Arey lekin yeh toh breaking news hai! "

"Faizuddin Siddiqui kahi aisa na ho ki mai wapas aate waqt tumhe zoo chod aau tumhaari in harkaton ki wajah se! " Karan threatened Faizi.

"Hame koi dikkat nahi hai! Zoo mei bohot pyaare jaanwar hote hai! " Faizi said.

"Bilkul tumhaare jaise! Itne same ki differentiate karna mushkil hojata hai kaun jaanwar hai aur kaun Faizi! " Karan smirked.

"Bina dil ka pahaad jaisa insaan! " Faizi huffed out as Karan sat in the jeep.

"Heard that! " Faizi looked wide eyed before following his friend.

Soon they reached the destination which was nothing but a book store.

"Tum yahi ruko mai abhi aya gift leke! " Karan ordered Faizi making Faizi roll his eyes at the audacity of his friend but nevertheless nodded his head.

Karan then got out of the jeep and walked towards the book store. Minutes later Faizi saw Karan coming out with a brown coloured bag.

"Yeh gift best rahega Rani Saaheba ke liye! " Karan tossed the brown bag to Faizi before getting inside the Jeep. He then took the book out to have a look at Karan's choice and as he had expected, the book really seemed Karan's choice.

"Alchemist? Really Karan? Tum Monami Tsunami ko yeh dena ka soch rahe ho? " Faizi said pointing the book.

"Haa! Book acchi hai! I am sure use pasand aayegi! " He replied back.

"Book definitely acchi hai but yeh Monami ke gift ke liye acchi nahi hai! Isliye ise abhi ke abhi waapas karke aao! "

"Huh? Mai aisa nahi karunga! " He denied.
